A Warmer Topic: How to Help a Weedy Lawn?

From many of the posts, I know most of you are just trying to stay warm. Here in Texas, however, I'm watching the weeds go nuts in our lawn. DH is not much of a lawn man, but he admitted we needed to get some advice on how to get the yard back in shape. Is there anything we need/can do before Spring to start killing off the weeds and encouraging the St. Augustine to fill in? Any suggested websites or products to use?
