A Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour problem

On our trip in early May, we did this tour. At that time they did not have the special pins we were to receive. They stated that they would mail one to us. It is now a month later and no pin. Has anyone else had this happen? I plan on calling them later today to see what is going on.

They are lovely pins. I hope that the person You talk to is helpful and gets your pins out to you right away.

So I called guest relations and was told that they are about 3 months behind in getting people their pins. 3 MONTHS BEHIND?????????? I was shocked by this. What a rip off. Advertise a "special commenorative pin" but then take forever to get it to you. The guest relations person seem amused when I stated "So it will be sometime late summer, early fall before I get our pins." she just chuckled and said, "Hopefully it won't be that long".

Beware if you book this tour.

At least you'll get them tho. Companies run out of things all the time, manufacturers fall behind. Happens to us all the time, it sucks but it happens. Imagine how fun it will be to get the pin in the mail. That would be cool.

We were there first week of June and got the same story. Good tour though.

The pin isn't all that great...at least in my opinion...it's just a solid brass-type color.

My mom and i went on the walk in walt's footsteps tour when we went on the Disboards Girl's Only trip in march.

I must say I would have not been the happy camper if they didn't have some sort of pin to provide.

Come on, this is Disneyland. They sell millions of pins. Get a replacement with walt on it from stock. Poor Form Disneyland! Step up to the plate and make it right.

Sheesh..how many people have gone on the tour and are waiting for pins?

Yeah, it's cute. I just don't find it that well executed...There are so many greater things they could have done with it.

Same thing happened to me when I took the tour on May 15th. I am on hold with guest services right now hehe, so I can get the same answer as you did.

FINALLY received our A Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour pins. Seems like so long ago that we did the tour. We did it in May 2009.

The pins are okay but are a nice souvenir to add to our collection.

Wow, it took awhile, but glad you finally got them. If they are the one with Walt, I especially like them because they remind me of the hidden Walt @ DL.

Great you finally got your pins! I really like this pin and would love to take this tour. I just think my 9 year old might be a bit bored.
