Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus made it's yearly stop in town. Our local arena allows cameras provided they dont have removable lenses (which meant the Canon Rebel XT stayed home while it's little brother the G3 got to go.)
The preshow is great. They allow spectators down on the floor to interact get photos with the performers and see some of the acts close up. My son had the class stuffed animal home for the weekend and got some photos to include in the assigned journal entry.
An elephant paints some pictures, one was given out to someone at that show, the rest are given to local charities for fund raiser auctions.
f/3.2 1/100 ISO 200
This was center ring, in low light about 50 yards from our seats. I'm surprised anything came out but this little Canon continues to amaze me. Taken in full manual mode. f/3.0 1/100, ISO 200
The headlining clown and an acrobat during the "Wheel of Death" act. f/3.0 1/100 ISO 100
