Someone was joking around about being staff... Yeah they were really funny...

They were also very lucky to still be able to play VMK...

Even joking around that your staff will get you in trouble.

Yay! A kind staff! Thank you so much VMK_Zoo for actually giving a player a second chance!! A warning instead of an lifetime ban. Much better. And I bet it works too. I bet that player never pushes that game of pretend again, or any of her friends either.

pretty lucky considering the situation. she did not know, somebody told her it was against rules. so she stopped but it was too late before ppl reported so fast it would make your head spin. So many thanks Zoo for being so kind.

I am still in the lobby with the person and she is all smug about it all now. And says she is famous, and as people enter and ask if Host has been here, she said a host come to talk to her personally and she is now famous.

So, yes, it's nice she wasn't banned, but did she learn anything? I am not so sure.

Laura, I was Joking around and yes I am very luck. I love to kid around and had I know it was against the rules I would have never said such a thing. ("Host here" is what i said since you told me you didnt see what I typed)
The reason why I joked the way I did was because all day long ppl ask "has host come in yet" It was all for fun, I was not trying to trick anyone in any way, shape or form.

I posted this to warn others that even JOKING AROUND about being a host can get you in trouble. As you stated, you did not know that even joking about it was against VMK values. Now you do, and now everyone else does too.

The only thing that saved you was the fact you were joking around and not trying to bully or scam. But it did get you noticed by staff... and not in a good way.

Did someone hanging out report you? Did some program pick up on it? Did the kids you joked around with get mad and report you? I dont know.

Like I said in game, I have no idea what you said, or anything that had happened before my eye caught those red ears pop in the room.

Again I didn't post this to 'call you out' I blacked out the name.. I posted it because I dont want to see anyone get banned for joking around.

That this thread be closed. This thread is only going to get worse as slandering fellow disers (Calling someone "SMUG", I didn't know VMK charaters were so expressive.) will only continue. The fellow Diser that this has happened too had no idea it was wrong, never meant any ill or malicious intent and quite frankly is completely embarrased to have to see it all over the boards. To prevent further ill will on a fellow Diser I suggest this thread be closed.

Actually no I am not closing this thread.

This thread provides useful infomation that everyone needs to read and take to heart.

Bears did not out any "DISer" the person in question outed themselves and if you check their post count that was their first post.

they had been playing since DAY 1 and did NOT know that pretending to be staff was against the rules?

If that is the case then I think this thread has a purpose and it stays.
