Apparently there is a long list of wanna be nieces, from what I am told I am taking all my nieces on an Adventures by Disney trip.

That's right! to Jo's in 2012 for the summer Olympics

After a nap and a shower we headed back to the MK as we had an ADR at Plaza. We got to the park early and grabbed some Space FP’s. And then took a spin on the Speedway.

BTW, notice the new Pooh earrings

It was time to go check in at Plaza. There was a short wait so we took a seat at one of the tables outside.

Soon we were called in. Kelly took one look at the menu and announced there was nothing she liked on it. She wanted mac n cheese. I whispered to the waitress and asked if there was anyway to get mac n cheese.

Yes, I know I shouldn’t have indulged her, but I didn’t want to play the role of the wicked Aunt.

The waitress came back and let me know that they would get some mac n cheese from another restaurant in the park.

Whew.

I ordered the tuna on a croissant and treated myself to a chocolate shake.

The food came and I was ready to enjoy my meal.

Well, I was until I look over at Kelly and she is spitting out the mac n cheese .

It’s too cheesy she announces, it’s not Kraft.

UGH.

After all the fuss to get it somebody had to eat it.

And that someone was going to be me.

The person that doesn’t like mac n cheese.

The person that had a lovely sandwich and shake in front of her.

I choked down 5 or 6 spoonfuls and the spread the rest around on the plate. You know like you did when you were a kid to make it look like you ate more than you really did.

Oh I’m sure I really fooled them.

I ate part of my sandwich and drank some of my shake.

I felt cheated, I could have really enjoyed my sandwich and shake.

If I had more room.

So karma came and bit me on the butt.

Kinda like that duck did to G-Luv.

I indulged her when I shouldn’t have and learned my lesson.


We had some time before our FP’s so it was one more spin on the speedway

When we got off it was starting to rain. We ran to Buzz and she decided she didn’t want to play with me. HMMM. Wonder why?

I talked her into playing with me and OMG I can’t believe this, I,

OMG, I could barely type that, I’m so ashamed.

She called Murph to let her know of her conquest.

I hung my head in shame.

Don’t look, I’m pitiful.

Let’s move on from this shameful part.

OK how about Laugh Floor to wait out the FP’s.

She wasn’t into it, but I talked her into it and thankfully she did enjoy it. She was so excited to ride Space and it was now our FP time. We get over to Space and it’s down.

UGH.

No Space tonight.

When are they going to finally announce a rehab for this broken down thing. It seems to be down more than up these days. I WANT DL’S VERSION!!!!!!! DL’S VERSION ROCKS BAY-BEE!

Makes me want to hop on a plane right now....

It was now pouring out so we decided to head back to the GF and call it the night.

As we get to the ramp to go up to the resort monorail there is a puddle about 6 inches deep.

I am not exaggerating, it was above my ankles. We had no choice but to wade through it. Thank goodness we both had crocs on. We were able to get on a waiting monorail and both shower off of the puddle germs when we got back to the GF.

I hadn’t mentioned this yet, but the lounge had the most delicious cookies out in the afternoon and evening. It was so nice to get some cookies and hot chocolate on a damp rainy night.

We took our treats back to the room and watched TV on the couch before going off to sleep.

That's cool that they accomodated the mac & cheese request. At Kelly not eating it. We really enjoyed the Plaza when we were there. The kids all had grilled cheese and I had the Rubuen..YUM

Kelly wanted to get some souvies for her family. Her mom wanted a mug, so that was our next stop and her dad (my brother) is a bit of a grump, so of course we picked out a Grumpy shirt for him.

Kelly also mentioned her neighbor who always gets her something so she asked if she could get something for them. We got a bag of gold coins for them. I thought it was so sweet that she thought of them I wanted to encourage that sort of thoughtfulness.

Looking at the pics I realized I forget to tell you about this...When speaking with concierge planning before the trip they asked what was special about this trip, so I had said it was Kelly's first and that it was a gift for her b-day. They assumed we were there on her b-day and left this...
