A very Proud Dad moment!!!

My DW and I received this letter yesterday:

Dear Parent,

Each month, the staff of East Elementary recognizes those students who make a positive contribution to their classroom and total school environment. Those students who consistently come to school with a positive attitude, relate well to their peers and teachers, follow school rules, and put forth a strong effort with their studies are presented the "Citizen of the Month Award."

I am pleased to inform you that your child, Seth has been selected by his teacher to receive this awar. This award will be presented at a P.T.O. meething on Tuesday, October 15, at 7:00pm.

We have not informed the students that they have been selected to receive this award in order to make the event a surprise.

We were so excited for Seth I read him the letter and "let the cat out of the bag." We are so very, very proud of him. He is such a great little kid.
