A very odd and random question

Lol, that's cool about you and max! Last year I walked right up to Darth Vader and said "Well hello there tall DARK-SIDE and handsome!" IT was funny because he was shaking his fist at me trying to act all tough. Then I got really close and said "Ooo, a Tough guy. You know I like that in a man!" he didn't know what to do! I was thinking I WIN! :yay:

After I got him to sign with my pink pen, witch he did not approve of my color choise btw. LOL Anyway, I gave him a great big hug and my arms still didn't go around him all the way and I felt so short, I only came up to his shoulder! It made for a cute picture and I've been trying to figure out how to load it on my profile. Then I blew him a goodbuy kiss and I realized that Vader was just waiting for the perfect time to be Vader! He made a mad grab for his lightaber and lunged towards me! I was so thirlled to get such a reaction! I acutally remember "taking cover" around a nearby bush! All the kids were laughing and cheering! It was so sweet and I was honnored to be 'part of the show'! :goodvibes

But the SW characters were really the only ones I got a lot of reaction from because like I mentioned earlier I felt so odd being the oldest person in line! Not this year though, BIG KIDS OF THE WORLD UNITE!;)

i am turning 20 IN DISNEY!!!! Going to Cinderella's royal table for my birthday dinner and i am wareing a crown and a sash that says princess all day and i am geting my pic with all the princesses. the first time i ever saw princess Aurora i was 16 and i was crying like a baby. i was with my high school, but my friends know that's just who i am, i am a disney freak. i feel the only place an adult can act like a kid and get away with it is in disney. oh 19 years old and Jack picked my to be in his pirate crew!!! i was the oldest one up there. when i was a kid they never did all that stuff in disney. my best friend and i believe age is a state of mind.
i agree with the Jedi training, but padawans are really young. if anakin was too old, then i'm really old. then again there is luke to consider and again if i don't stop now i'll just keep talking. so excited first time going down for star wars weekend.

I'm 20, and you know what? I'm going to wait in line, for Aladdin, Jasmine, Belle, The Beast...because that's a part of Disney. Meeting the Characters.

I did it last year, and I'm certainly not stopping because I'm one year older. :P

I'm 20 years old, and I still LOVE to meet characters. I feel a little dorky sometimes, but it's worth the fun. <3

This is the way I see it:
I have saved money all year to go to Disney. I drove 10 1/2 hours to get there. I'm going to miss a week's pay. I (or any adult) have the right to have dinner with the characters, dance with them, take pics with them, or whatever. I paid just as much $$ as any one else did for their vacation!

I was there in Jan this year solo for a couple of days after a business trip ended - and you bet I took some photos with characters. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it at any age.

Don’t worry, I’m young and have gone to the parks solo several times and in fact I’m planning my first trip ever to Disneyland coming up and I will be going solo. And you bet I will be standing in line waiting to meet Peter Pan, get my photo taken with Aurora and of course get a giant hug from Winnie the Pooh.

Nothing wrong with that! And I agree with you 100% about the Jedi Training Academy. I just realized on my last trip that all the kids get light sabers to keep after the show is over and I immediately tried to figure out a way to look like a little kid but it didn't work, oh well. :rotfl:

I found my self day dreaming at work yesterday after reading all the recent replies! I can not wait to meet all my favorite Star Wars characters again, especially the bad guys! YAY DARK SIDE! :rotfl:

I'm going to try out for the Jedi Academy too! If Luke Skywalker wasn't too old to begin the traning, than neither am I! lol, I probablly won't get picked but I think it's worth a try! I know a lot of people on this board still believe in pixe dust and I think that is great. I'm not a big fan of fairys but deep down, I still beleive in Wookiees! ;) :goodvibes

I'm almost 21 and still LOVE meeting those characters. My mom and I still track our favorites down and do character meals. It's all in fun and a great shadow over reality; it's just fantasy and having a blast! :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

Good for you and have fun!!

Remember - the force will be with you..........always.

I will say this, last Nov we were in line (my husband and myself both 33) to get our pics w/ the "cars". Our nephew, poor deprived child loves them and his parents are not in to disney. so we were going to get our pic taken with them so he could see them, we even called him so he could hear them. Anyway this RUDE woman behind me kept making nasty comments that we should not even be there that we were adults. I really did not hear her, but my husband did, which is unusual and he told me after we left. I heard her mumbling but I did not listen to what she was specificly saying - so I went into guest relations and asked if I had done soemthing wrong (this was on my way out). They said no, the characters are for everyone! Hope that eases your mind.

Thanks for helping me find my inner kid everyone! :goodvibes
