We're staying at Poly CL next week with our two kids - 6 & 7 - so I've been enjoying your trip report! We bought tickets to see Hamilton at that absurd price in November! I'm so stinkin' excited! PBS is airing a special with lots of the show on October 21st and I'm trying to decide if I should watch it then or wait until after I've seen it live in November!

Then you understand the utter thrill of randomly finding those tickets, right?! Our show is Oct 26th I believe so my plan is to DVR the PBS special and watch it when we get home.... if we can wait. You will really love the Poly! We had a great stay!

Hello Folks! Sorry for the delay! Where were we.... oh yes, tuesday the 6th. Lovely morning at MK but some cranky kids so we headed back to the Poly. I have no pictures of the next four hours because they were spent pacing the kids around the resort in the stroller, ha ha! They both did eventually fall asleep and get a good nap in.

Right around 4pm I walked the twins to Lilo's Playhouse and checked them in. They were really excited. At the same time another mommy was checking her four year old and the kids hit it off immediately and I felt much better about leaving them with strangers. I brought them each a change of clothes in a zip loc bag just in case, and ordered them dinner with the check in.

Then I walked back to our room and got ready for our night out! It was a lot of fun getting dressed up at Disney, actually, we havent done it before. We felt very fancy leaving our room and taking the monorail to the GF actually, ha ha. When we got off the monorail I snagged a stranger to take our picture, he did a great job:



In true Casey fashion we were super early to the GF so we hung out in the lobby for a while. After a few minutes a photopass photographer came over and offered to take our picture. How fun! I dont know if there is always a photopass guy in the lobby or if he was waiting for business at 1900 PF. So here we are in better lighting. Note my 2016 Princess 1/2 Marathon Dooney and Bourke Pouchette, which I selected from my (somewhat extensive) purse collection for the evening out.


When we got to V&A we were seated promptly and greeted by our serving team, who were attentive and fantastic all evening. My purse got a little chair of her own.



I could get used to this place.

Our server went over our options for the Menu. First we had to choose between the 7-course menu or the 10-course menu. We decided to opt for the 7 course menu, with the wine pairings, but we each upgraded one of our selections to the options from the 10-course. Luckily we got a copy of our menu after dinner or I would never remember what each dish was!

I need to get my kids out of the bath now so I will post some food pictures and menu later tonight!
