OK...please don't judge me, but I'm in a debate with my husband about an important issue and I need to know if I'm right.




What's the best Monopoly piece? I say it's the dog. He said I'm crazy, it's the car....what do you think? Another woman I know started this all by saying it was the thimble....but really...a thimble????

I have always favored the horse personally...I will NOT play unless I get to be the horse..I am whined at, pleaded with, and blasted for being "immature" about the horse..just ask my girls lol who secretly lust after the horse lol...

I agree with this woman. It's the thimble. It's always there. You don't have to run to the box to try to get it first. No one else fights for it so you get the same piece each time you play. It stands upright.

You are right.... The dog is the best piece because you can put him on his nose and he can "kiss" a property when he lands on it, and he can stay like that w/o you holding him there by rubbing it in for the other players. LOL!!! Yeah... we have had some pretty serious Monopoly games in our family growing up.

I always wanted the scottie because I love animals, so I think that's the best piece. I don't remember there being a horse because I definately would have chosen that.

The thimble sucks. You are correct, it is most definitely the dog.

I haven't played any of the newer editions. Do they now have a horse and a HD?
