A Very Disney Christmas! Nov/Dec 2010 PTR (Trip Drama & 2 Days! 11/24)

Hi there! I just saw this, so I'm sorry I didn't answer you sooner. I'll take some pity on you, since your team lost that day. We saw Kurt Warner at the Lion King show. We are huge sports fans so that was VERY cool to us. If you ever care to read it, I put chapter links at the front of the TR and we saw him near the end of the trip.

OMGosh! I LOVE Kurt Warner! I've always liked him (I have his book on my iPhone, but I haven't read it yet), but when I saw him do that Gene Kelly-inspired dance on DWTS, I fell in love! He seems like the greatest guy! And what a story he has to tell. From grocery store clerk to Super Bowl winning quarterback. He's incredible! All he does is win, and he never gets the recognition he deserves. I need to start a "Kurt Warner for the Hall of Fame" drive! He has better stats (except for number of Super Bowl rings) than my beloved Troy Aikman, and he got in. Kurt needs to be in there, too, durn it!

Oops. Got off track there for a minute. Sorry about that!

Anyway, thanks for spilling the beans! And I'm off to read your TR for real now. Tennessee's big win this weekend has put me in a better mood. Sorry for your loss, though, Becky! I am honestly a SEC fan, and since Tennessee has stunck it up ( I know. Totally not a word) so badly that we don't have a chance, I was really hoping to see another SEC team in the National Championship. I'll always pull for the SEC (although it REALLY hurts to do it when I have to pull for Florida).

I'm so glad that you, Brent and the girls found a new church home so quickly, and that the transition went so well! I know how difficult that can be. It looks like you guys are very happy where you are now!

Love your Disney on Ice pics!! I tried to get Darren to drive to Memphis for Let's Celebrate, but then we found out Princess Wishes was coming to Knoxville, so we chose it instead.

Looks like you guys had a great Halloween! The girls looked so cute in their costumes! That is great that Claire came in 2nd in the picture contest! What an awesome prize, too!

Your Disney plans are looking fabulous! I'm so glad that you guys are getting to do the Sleigh Ride! It looks like so much fun!

Thanks Andrea! I hate games that are so close--I think I'd rather lose by a lot. That way I don't get my hopes up. You may still see an SEC team in the National Championship--but we will NOT be cheering for Auburn--they are the enemy! Oh--and we would never cheer for Florida!

Ally is a perfect Alice...she would have loved Rachel and Naomi-Ruth's birthday party we had on Sat. (posting pics on my PTR soon)...and Rachel loved LOVED her Alice clip she wore it w/ her Alice dress

And we are sooo excited that we'll be going to WDW sometime next October and experiencing WDW at Halloween!!

I didn't know that...we'll have to compare dates...I am hoping to pre-book BLT next week for 5 days Oct 16-20th for Matt and I it will be our 15 yr anniversary trip...and we too can't wait to experience Halloween at WDW !

Yes!! Can't wait! I'm waiting to see if Ally will get a full week off for Fall Break like she did this year and when it will be before we settle on dates. Oh--and I ordered my Halloween shirt from DisneyStore.com!!

Wow! It has been a crazy week at our house! Claire got sick on Tuesday (first time ever)--she has strep and an ear infection in one ear. I'm praying none of us get it--especially me since strep is the ONLY thing I get! And Brent is leaving on a business trip to Spain on Sunday so he really doesn't need to get sick! So far so good! I'm just thankful that she got it NOW and not while we're at WDW!!

Our playroom is almost finished--they said that it would be finished no later than Saturday! I cannot WAIT!! I've been stuck at home for a month now and I'm ready to get back to a normal routine that doesn't involve workers at my house 24/7.

A few days ago Julie (mousescrapper) posted a link to a blog on her PTR that gave a GREAT overview of the storytellers in the Holidays Around the World in Epcot. Apparantly the times guide doesn’t exactly tell you what times the tellers are out so luckily this guy took pictures of the posts w/the times by each station. I have seen almost every one of the storytellers, and some I have seen more than once. Brooklynn pulled her stroller cover over her head and kept it there the entire time the Monkey King was performing. She was not a fan.

Oh, to be immersed in a Disney Christmas!!! I am jealous of anyone who is going from now until the end of the year. Happy for them, but jealous.

I hope Claire is feeling all better now, and I hope you are all healthy for your trip.
