OK, I am so on the verge of getting myself into trouble right now. The Disney Store is offering 20% off of Park merchandise and the offer expires today. That means 20% on top of the Dooney & Bourke bags that are already at a reduced price. I know I shouldn't, but it's calling my name!!

SO tempting!!!

So we went to Cars2, and yup, not a winner for our family. DH started to nod off and DD7 was really bouncy and kept asking if we could go to the pool The plot was somewhat confusing and really dragged in parts. I think part of my disappointment comes from the high standard I hold Pixar/Disney to - they are usually so much better when it comes to storylines for "kid" movies.

OK, I went over there and I can get a princess bucket bag and wristlet for $131.98, shipping included. I haven't pulled the trigger yet ... oh man so tempting!!!!

I am desperately holding myself back. I want to get the Minnie Bow one that they don't have online when I'm there in September for my birthday present, so I must not buy one now. I must not buy one now. Sigh. Oh well. At least I'll get my AP discount when I'm there.

Yeah, I'm hearing mixed reviews of Cars 2. I'll still see it and try to go in without the super high expectations that I usually attach to any Pixar movie. How was the TS short? Did you hear that Tom Hanks let slip that there may be a TS4?

Right now I want to scream a couple of expletives but I can't. Why is it that something bad happens to my car whenever my sister touches it? She used my car to give hers a jump this morning while I was showering so she could drive down to L.A. for the next week (don't get me started on that considering she's supposed to be getting a job and this is the second time she's driven down there for the week this month without any money of her own). Fastforward to me leaving to go have lunch with Paula and as soon as I hit the freeway the hood of my car is bouncing all over the place. I pull over thinking it's just not closed and instead find out the entire latch is broken. Bloody perfect.

Looks like no fun things for me today. Just trying to fix my car and not want to go off on my sister.

That really sucks! How did she break the latch?? It would have been nice of her to tell you something happened before leaving and waiting for you to find out for yourself! Sorry you have to miss out on your fun day.

Glad I wasnt the only one who didnt care for the Cars 2 movie.
It just felt dragged on and I wasnt into the James Bond type of setting.

I have the Dooney bag! I got it right when it came out and LOVE IT! I get comments on it everywhere I go!

Today....I have a dentist appt. I hate the dentist! YUCK!

Andrea - she probably didn't even notice. She doesn't give a rat's behind about anything. And I'm sure the problem just needed a facilitator, that person being my sister, but what the heck did she DO that it break? So now she's off without a care in the world while I get to deal with a car that is apparently falling apart. She still hasn't paid to get the damage to the side fixed. But oh yeah, that'll never happen when she owes my parents thousands of dollars and yet they are still giving her money to go down to LA instead of getting a job like she was supposed to do ... I really shouldn't go on with this rant. It will last forever.

Row - Which Dooney and Bourke do you have? There are quite a few. Right noe I have about 4 of them, lol.

I have the original one. The white one with minnie and mickey and the castle and little rides that looks like they are drawn on. I dont care for too many of them.

I have this one but a million coach ones. Coach is my long time friend. People in the coach store at the Sacramento Galleria mall know me by name!

I love the white sketch. I have the wristlet and tassel tote from that design. I had to get a couple of the 55th Anniversary design, lol. So those are my four. Call me crazy but I'm not a coach fan. Actually I'm not a purse lover, but it's Disney an that's what I love.

I am not a purse fan either. I could never spend the money on those Coach bags. Too expensive. Until I bought my Dooney, I don't think I had ever spent more than $40 on a purse.

I am also really bad at forgetting my purse everywhere, so that is another reason I have never spent much on a purse. So far with this Dooney, I have been good about remembering it! Once I got up from a table at a restaurant and didn't realize I didn't have it until I was walking out the door. Close call!

I'm kind of the same way. Heck, I normally wont even pay close to $40 for a purse. My biggest fear was just me posibly just ruining it because I don't always take the best care of my things, although not for lack of good intentions. But these are like my Holy Grails, so they are treated like royalty.

Row, my sister is also obsessed with coach!! I don't even know how many bags she owns! I still haven't been able to buy muself a full sized Disney dooney...I have the princess wristlet which I love! Perfect for DLR. It fits my camera, phone, cash & cards and it's so easy to carry around. Plus it's Disney and super cute, I always get compliments on it
Good luck at the dentist! I think I'm almost due for my 6month check up!

I am off to another day at work. I get so tired of the closing shift...so repetive! Sometimes when I close lots of nights in a row I start to forget what I did on which day. Like I'll be starting to clean something and forget if I already cleaned it that day or I'd I'm just remembering doing it the night before!

Hi Michele! Oh I know, having a family always changes things. I'm trying to do as much fun (yet expensive!) things as I can now because I know when I do get a 'real' job and perhaps have a family of my own, I won have as many opportunities. Not saying that you can't do fun stuff with a family, but it just takes more planning & being responsible for more than just yourself. I actually can't wait till my sister has kids! I love the idea of being an aunt and introducing my niece or nephew to disney

The best advice I can give anyone is to have fun and enjoy being you before you are a we. I was 30 years old when Scotty and I got married. I am so glad I waited because I was able to be free and do what I wanted. In those days though I planned nothing. If I wanted to go to Disneyland I just hopped in my car and took off. I had many a great trip that way.

Hey Michele! Seth is good. Although we are all off on our timing today. Every time I am ready for some sleep, he is ready to be awake and fussy! I will be glad when Dillon gets home so I can maybe take a bit of a nap. Cause it isn't working now! Also doesn't help that the dogs keep barking at everything!
