Just super busy. DS17's high school graduation is tomorrow, and next week is a week of work stuff! I have the polygraph on Monday, lifescan (fingerprinting at the sheriff's office) on Wednesday, and interview with the background investigator on Friday. I'm busy filling out the pre-interview stuff right now, which is SUPER detailed and a lot of work for sure. Oh, on Monday I found out they are putting 16 people through background. 8 people will be hired from this pool ...

This thread sure is quiet lately.
Went to a Bruno Mars concert last night...I love him! This was my third time seeing him perform. He's so fun to watch and really gets into it and involved with the crowd.

Today will be my lazy day. My only duties are to feed my sisters pets while she's away on her honeymoon!

So jealous that you got to go see Bruno! I love him! He hasn't announced any concert dates anywhere near me yet, so can't see him.

Sorry I haven't felt too chatty lately. Just been trying to keep my mind off things. All the waiting is kind of depressing. And I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life! At least there are only 4 days or less now!

Jessica, it may be a while before i get your package. Canada Post is going on a strike so our mail is not going to come as often as usual. I just checked the mail today after 3 days of not getting it and all we got was 2 pizza flyers.

Wow, that sucks. I mean bills will be late then, I hope that businesses understand that your bills getting to them on time depends on people that are on strike.

Most of my bills are done by email, but there are a couple that might come in late. I hope they will understand too! I am sure they will once it is explained to them if that problem arises.

I pay pretty much everything online myself, but there are a lot of older people that don't. I taught my mom how to though.

I think most banking is done by internet now. It's very convenient! I now have an app for my bank on my phone, so I can pay all my bills in seconds and also transfer funds into other accounts if I need to on my phone. I love it. Don't know what I'd do without my beloved iPhone, lol. Or as Dillon calls it "The Jesus Phone" cause it does everything.

It is just now getting dark in Juneau, 1026pm Alaska time (we are one hour behind pacific time).

I see that it gets dark at the DL around 8ish or so...that will be so strange - it gets light her at 330am - 400am and gets dark around 1030-1100 this time of year.

We leave Sat for DL...can't wait...I am so excited that I can't pack!!!!!

Speaking of packing....guess I will get back to it then off to bed for one more day of work. It will be so hard to work tomorrow especially after lunch.

I think that in a lot of ways all that sunlight might be nice sometimes. I guess if we go on our cruise in June or July I need to adjust for that.

I have not been able to sleep for the past 2 and a half hours. The baby will not stop moving! They are hard movements too, like kicking and twitching and things. Every time that I think he has calmed down, he starts up again. So frustrating and very painful. I have an appointment at noon, so hopefully they will have a suggestion to survive the next 3 days of this or let me go a little earlier. I just want this part to be over so bad!
