Yeah Paula, that would be a little to close to make possible. We were there June of last year. I really enjoyed it, it was pretty crowded though. We ususally go in October or November. It's getting cold here, and it's nice to get away. I would love to meet all of you and spend time in the park with you guys.:)

Nobody I know except the people on the DIS understand my going in June for 10 days. Of course... sometimes I question it myself. I'm afraid I will get lonely and depressed once my best friend leaves but then I think of riding Screamin, Splash and GRR as Single Rider and having a blast!

It's a plan. I will gather what I can. The company I work for does business with Denali Park in the summer. I will see what I can get. I have a friend who lives in Fairbanks and travels to Denali quite a bit in the summer, I will talk to him.

Oh Chrissie that would be great.

I will try not to cough on you!!

:lmao: I think you will be successful unless you have some super powerful lungs!

Are yo guys chatting here and on skype?

I am signed in but not chatting. I can set one up.

The lines for single rider are better.:goodvibes

Happy Saturday everyone!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. Our has been ok. It's really sunny out, and would be nice, but the wind is horrible. And the mosquitos are out in full force already. So much for enjoying the outdoors!

I am just waiting for my Mom to get here. She is driving from Calgary to be at my baby shower tomorrow, and decided to come a little early. Dillon's Mom is hosting a BBQ tonight, so it sounds like we might be heading there a little later. Should be a good evening! :)

That sounds like a nice way to spend a Saturday. I am not doing anything today. I had to go to the store earlier but other than that I am not going anywhere at all.

Hello!

I don't have plans today either... Went to the store to buy a new pillow... hoping that helps me to sleep better!

I haven't had so much trouble sleeping in a really long time! If the pillow doesn't help a massage is next on the agenda I think!

Does your Kaiser have the massages? Our has them on Thursdays.

I've only seen them offer chair massages which don't work for me. I end up feeling worse then I did before the massage. To really be beneficial I need a full on 60 minute massage and prefer deep tissue at that. Its hard to find a good deep tissue masseuse though.

I think that is what they offer here. Scotty used to go to a chiropractor and that was nice for a while. Then it stopped working. I have been thinking about going, we get the chiropractor with our Kaiser.

Wow... You have good Kaiser insurance! I don't get any chiro coverage! I wish I did... I've gone to several through the years... some have helped more than others.

I contribute that fact to the fact that he works for an Australian company. We also have a vision plan where they reimburse us $200 towards glasses.

I have the same for vision I think. I only use it for sunglasses though since I had Lasik.

There are TONS of different Kaiser plans...

Oh I know there are. We have had it with other companies and I grew up with the federal governments Kaiser. This is by far the best Kaiser plan I have been on. The chiropractor visits are the same price as our Kaiser visits. It can't be beat.

I have minor scoliosis and then with the work I do my back is always messed up :lmao:

Scotty has sciatica, I need to think about it because when I was in the hospital I was dropped/fell. My right shoulder and arm were paralyzed for a while, and I still have residual pain and numbness. I am wondering if a deep tissue massage would help with my problems.

A deep tissue massage may help if the pain/numbness is muscular. If it is nerve then probably not. If it is from pinched nerves a chiropractor may be the better option. Of course my chiro's have always said chiroproctors and massage go hand in hand :woohoo:

I was once told that if I went with a deep tissue massage the only way to do it is to see a chiropractor.

they work well together because if your muscles are tight even though the chiropractor does an adjustment it won't stay because of muscle memory... if the muscles are looser it works better.
