A Very Chit-Chat Thread

Today is a rough day. My sister passed away in her sleep last night.

I am so very sorry Michelle! Even though she was sick you are never prepared for it to be over. She is breathing easy now though the ones left behind are not.

Yeah, it's the one that has been sick. She was at home. She went to the DR on Friday and was diagnosed with pneumonia again. This being the third time in last few months. Our dad had congestive heart failure and when he was first sick they kept diagnosing it as pneumonia. I cannot help wondering if that is what was going on with her.

Congestive Heart Failure is often mis-diagnosed that way..that is what took Brant's Mom suddenly in 2009 and she was correctly diagnosed and we still weren't prepared.

Yes, I actually did think that having those ride openings on the same day as my due date was pretty cool. It would be quite the deal if he was actually born on that day, because I heard that it's pretty rare for that to happen!

I am sure having my mom there will be great help, whether it's been a while or not.

A bit of a vent!

Tell me if this sounds right to you:

Your boss gives you a new project to work on. He knows you have little to no knowledge on this new project. Instead of guiding you on how to do it, he tells you to Google it, and if you ask him any sort of questions about it, he laughs at you, makes you feel like an idiot, and tells you to keep googling.

Does this sound like a good boss to you? This is Dillon's boss right now. He also won't let Dillon get a new phone. For about 3 or 4 months now, Dillon's phone shuts off several times a day at random, and he ends up missing important work calls. Anytime anyone else needs a replacement phone, they get one, but he's not allowed even though 80% of his job is done on the phone. Ugh, I just don't get why some "bosses" have to be such jerks!

Sorry, needed to get that off my chest. I just feel bad for Dillon lately. He loves what he does, but his boss treats him like crap for no reason.

Good Morning!

Michele, I am so sorry to hear about your sister's death. It must have come as a complete shock to everyone. :sad2:

Thank you. It did.

So sorry to hear about your loss Michele. My prayers are with you and your family.

Thank you.

Oh my goodness! I was so tired when I got home from work this morning I fell asleep with the laptop on my lap for a short nap!!:o

You earned it.

I just read Stephanie's status on facebook. I am really sorry about your loss Michele. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Thank you Andrea. Her MIL has Jason and her and Josh are staying the night with her dad.

I am relieved that she is no longer suffering.

Wow what a jerk.

Glad you are holding up ok. Also glad that Scotty is home with you. So sorry this had to happen on his birthday and so close to yours.

Thank you. It's silly the things you think of. I was thinking that I wouldn't get a call from her tomorrow wishing me a happy birthday. It will be the first birthday I haven't been told happy birthday by her.

Aww, that will probably hit hard. I am sorry.

No it's not. I can understand how those little things will be something you think about.

I am a grown up though. It does bring down my excitement for my birthday. I always am a big celebrator of parties.
