I kinda want to watch, but the whole story is so disturbing I am not sure if I could or not.

My Mom came for a visit today. She brought me another present!

And look who is right in the middle! There is more to the picture, but the full picture is pretty small. I will have to do it when I finish the Disneyland one. I got a good amount done before I had Seth, but since then it hasn't been touched. Soon!

My mom watches a lot of political shows... but she is in Wisconsin and if she starts talking about politics or cases or anything when I talk to her on the phone I change the topic!

Ugh! I haven't been listening to her since the verdict yesterday, but I know her enough to know what she must sound like right now. It's fine to have an opinion, I just don't like when people are so loud about them.

Just out of curiosity....do you think it's ok to take Seth on rides such as IASW and POTC if I have him sitting on my lap? Or do you think that I am crazy for even thinking about stuff like that when he will be 2 months old? On one of the days we are down there, my mom is going to come into the parks and bring him in as well. It would be cool to enjoy just a couple rides with all of us, but if he's too little then obviously not.

I think IASW will be just fine. My only thoughts about POTC are the drops.

I think it is okay for the calm rides. I have seen people take babies on POTC before... They squeeled going down the drop lol.

You will obviously have to see how he does but I think IASW should be no problem at all.

Yeah I was wondering if the drops might be a little much. Maybe just stick to IASW and maybe Dumbo or Peter Pan would be ok. Not sure though as those have lap bars.

Do you have one of those wrap thingies to carry him in? I think they allow the babies to stay in those on the rides..

I would post to the main board as I know others have taken young ones to the parks!

Maybe I will see how he does on IASW and then determine if POTC is too much or not. Just don't want him screaming and ruining the ride for everyone else on the boat, lol.

I think you'll be fine on IASW and POTC. My friend didn't have a problem with either when ehr son was about 3 months I think. Worse comes to worse, just ask the CM's before you get on?

I don't have a wrap, but I do have one of those carriers that you put on so he is strapped to your chest (or back when he's older).

You're not crazy - you aren't the first person to take an infant. You may get the idiots who ask why not wait until he's older, but if you have the opportunity, why not? Especially since you have 3 glorious years befor you have to pay for him.

Maybe just post for suggestions on what you can take him on rather than those two specifically? Did you do a search to see if maybe someone started a thread like that before?
