A Very British Trip Report - May 2009 - Day 14

The problem is the lounge at the Polynesian is right next door to ‘Ohana, so everybody sits there waiting for their ADR’s.
That's one of my big bugbears with quite a few of the Disney lounges. The Tambu Lounge would be lovely if it wasn't a glorified holding area for 'Ohana.

One thing we didn’t like here was that the main courses came out before we had finished our appetizers.
I made exactly the same comment about our own Wave experience. Most annoying!

Come on, then - spill the beans on the chocolate martini incident!

I think that Tam had enjoyed a small drinkypoo during our evening at The Wave, finishing off with a chocolate martini. She enjoyed this very much, perhaps a little too much!

Poor Tam always gets the job of working out the splitting of the bill at our meals and tonight's mathematics took a lot longer than usual. In fact, we were the last people left in the restaurant.
At a crucial stage of working out, Tam went to rest her elbows on the table .... and missed! The ladies took this as proof that the chocolate martini is indeed a potent cocktail.

Not to mention the drink at Minzner's and in the bar at The Wave beforehand. But who's counting? :rotfl:

To be fair, I think we all had a taste of the chocolate martini - so it's not like she finished it off on her own.

Seriously though ... Tam does take very good care of us in dividing up the bill! Thanks Tam!

A great day, lovely meal and fantastic company. Cannot fault anything :goodvibes
