We did not take any pictures of our food (I know, sacrilege) so this will be brief. It's also not in order, as we don't remember when/where we had snacks.
Lunch @ Tangerine Cafe, Epcot: I wanted a sandwich without meat, but they didn't understand that, so I got a plate with hummus, greens, and a roll, with a side of tzatziki sauce, which I made into my own hummus sandwich. It was yummy, and a good tip for vegetarians as it only came to $5 and some change. My partner had the chicken wrap, which she said was good. That came with sides of cous cous and lentils. She really liked the cous cous, I'm not really a fan of it in general, and neither of us really liked the lentils. Overall it was a good lunch though and we'd both go there again.
Dinner @ Alfredo's, Epcot: We had a 6pm ADR for this one, and good thing because we heard them turn people away who walked in without one. We both had Ceasar salads to start, they were good, but nothing special as we both just sat here going, "Did we eat salad? I think we did." LOL. For entrees I had the trio plate, with fettucine alfredo substituted for the meat lasagna. The alfredo was very rich, the penne with basil marinara was nice, and the mushroom tortellini were good. My partner had the lasagna, which was good but a huge portion. She barely finished half of it. For dessert we shared the sampler. It had tiramisu, a cannoli, some type of lemon flavored cake, and a liquer-infused chocolate torte. We also had cappucinos. All of this was excellent! The only thing we left on the dessert plate was the stick of white chocolate garnish. (Ugh, white chocolate...). We'd go back here also. My partner has been to Italy and says the food here is almost as good as the real thing.
Lunch @ Columbia Harbour House, MK: I had the half a tuna sandwich and vegetarian chili, my partner had the half ham sandwich and clam chowder, and my mom had the fried fish basket. Tuna sandwich and chili were both excellent, I actually ended up getting the same thing again later in the trip. My partner loved the chowder, but the ham was a little salty & dry. She got the tuna sandwich on our second visit here. My mom thought the fish was good, it wasn't greasy at all. This is one of the best CS meals we had on our trip (obviously, since we went back a second time).
Dinner @ Cosmic Ray's, MK: I had the veggie burger & fries, it wasn't as good as I remembered it, but it was decent. Mom & partner both had burgers & fries, both liked them a lot. We also liked having the topping bar. Mom in particular likes to put a TON of toppings on her burgers.
Lunch @ Pizzafari, AK: Mom & partner split the Italian sandwich, I got a caesar salad and breadsticks with marinara dipping sauce. The breadsticks were really good, better than Olive Garden even (haha). Mom & partner both liked the samdwich, it was grilled like a panini and had caesar salad on it instead of plain lettuce, which added a nice flavor.
Dinner @ Hollywood & Vine, MGM: It's a buffet - really, what more is there to say? Everyone found a lot of things they enjoyed, and I had plenty of vegetarian choices. We were almost too full for dessert, but managed to squeeze in a few of the bite-sized cakes.
Lunch @ Typhoon Lagoon: I can't remember which place we ate at here, but there's only two. It was the one that serves hotdogs, since that's what my partner got. I got the kid's grilled cheese pretzel. It was good, and I gave my sand pail to a little girl at a nearby table who didn't get a kid's meal.
Dinner @ Bluezoo, The Dolphin: This was our big splurge, romantic-evening-out meal, and boy was it GOOD. To start, the bread basket was divine. It had three different types of bread - a carmelized onion bread, one with sunflower seeds in it, and a crispy rosemary bread - served with fennel butter. We both did the "Simply Fish" meal - you choose your fish and your sauce. I had the mahi mahi with a crabmeat, dijon mustard, & chive sauce. My partner had the red snapper with a baby shrimp, parsley, & lemon sauce. Both were excellent. They were also served with hearts of palm and pureed potatoes, which were both very good. We passed up dessert here, since we were headed to Downtown Disney and wanted to go to Ghirardelli. The meal was incredible and we both highly recommend Bluezoo if you're looking for a nice evening out away from all the "Disney-ness."
Lunch @ Pizza Planet, MGM: This place was SO CROWDED. There was at least one, maybe more, middle school groups here and they all had vouchers for their lunch and the line was backed up for a good 30 minutes because they ran out of pizzas. At least ours was fresh when we finally got it. It was good pizza and a nice little side salad, but I'd definitely avoid it during peak lunch times.
Dinner @ San Angel Inn, Epcot: There aren't any vegetarian items on the menu, and only one fish item which I was not in the mood for, so I asked our server what the chef could do vegetarian, and he gave me a choice of two different combo plates and one dinner salad. I opted for a plate that consisted of a cheese enchilada with a very spicy green chile sauce and a bean burrito topped with sour cream & tomatoes, with rice on the side. My partner had the Plato Mexicano, which consisted of a Beef Tenderloin Tampiquena, chicken enchilada, and ground beef burrito, with rice & beans. It was good, except the green chile sauce was a bit too spicy for both of us. We also had the nachos (without the chorizo) for an appetizer, neither one of us thought they were that good. We both loved the atmosphere here, and we lucked out with a table right next to the "river."
And that's it! Well, sort of. We ate breakfast in the food court at ASMusic every day. My partner loves the Mickey waffles, and we both got a kid's scrambled egg meal one day that came with applesauce as a side, which was a nice change. Other than that we had your standard bagels, pastries, & fruit.
Some snacks of note that we had: Kaki Gori (tangerine) in Japan @ Epcot, cinnamon almonds, frozen banana, a lemon tart from the patisserie in France @ Epcot (don't bother with the frozen cappucino there though, it tasted worse than Dunkin Donuts coffee), Itzakadoozies, Mickey bar (gotta have one of those, it's like a rule), and a cinnamon roll from Main Street Bakery. Talk about a good way to end a trip.
