A UOG park recommendation has me baffled

Trying to plan our Dec itin and UOG has me confused. I've typically stuck by the strategy of hitting a park the day after it's EMH (esp evening EMH). And not that it's a BIG deal in early Dec, but on MONDAY, Dec 4, why would UOG recommend MGM (which has eve EMH) and NOT recommend MK (which has eve EMH on Sunday)? Last Dec, we went to MK on two weekdays which had MVMCP that night and the parks were really empty til the late, late afternoon... so I was thinking Monday at MK would be a great choice.

I never go by what the guidebooks recommend as far as what day to tour what park. We actually usually choose the park with the morning EMH because that's the best time to get a lot of rides in before it gets crowded. Then you can take your time and explore the shops, shows, etc when more people start drifting in around lunchtime.

keep checking back for updates, or you could probably email them and ask them if it's an error... I noticed on one of the dates I was going to be there that MK was in both the "best parks" column and "parks to avoid" column... Someone must have said something about it and they fixed it - so it might just be an error... I know UOG typically recommends staying away from parks with EMH on that day - but perhaps there's a factor there that we (the general public) don't know about...

The only reason I can think of is that MK is generally most crowded on Mondays and the weekends. I have heard that this is the pattern for several years, but some people have other experiences with this.

I agree that it is because it falls on a Monday...according to the UOG (& me but I dont have my own guide book "yet") , Mondays are proven crowded days @ MK. But if everyone goes by the UOG, OG, & TGM, can you imangine how crowded they would be then.

I heard that the Unofficial Guide did those charts based on an old EMH schedule, not the current one.
