08/03:
Okay, today was the day. I was going to my most favorite themepark ever!!!! IOA!!!!! We were all up and ready to go at 8:30 and out the door by 9:15. We did not have breakfast because we would be having lunch at Mythos!!!!!!! When we got to the park, we headed straight for the Hulk! DW and DS rode Storm force and I got my Hulk fix!!!! After this we stopped so DS could get his face painted like.....Spiderman.......who would have thought????
After doing pics and face painting, Dad decided to ride Dr. Doom and then we hit Spiderman. We rode 3x with FOTL and it was before 3 p.m. It was NOT enforced. We love Spiderman! After our rides, I made my fair share of monetary donations at the Spiderman store, Marvel Alterniverse, and the Comics Store. We sent all the packages to the hotel and they were there the next morning. Great perk for staying on site. Once finished in Marvel, we headed to Seuss Landing. We did not want to go to Toon Lagoon as we wanted to get wet after lunch, not before. When we hit Seuss Landing we hit all the attractions there within a 1/2 hour. At about 11:30 DS and DW stated they were hungry, so we headed to Mythos to see if they would take our 12:00 ressie earlier. When we got there, we were seated immediately. As usual, the service, food and ambiance were great. DW and I had the plaintain nachos with pork and a caesar salad as an appetizer. DW had the Mythos burger, DS had pizza and I had the rissotto of the day. It was chicken stuffed with cheese and spinach. The risotto had alot of spinach, but it was great! We were all so full, that we skipped dessert. Total with tip $88.13. During lunch it poured and we thought our day would be ruined, but by the time we left Mythos, it was so hot and sunny and it didn't rain at all after that! Great day!
After lunch, we saw Sinbad, I rode Fire and we all rode the Unicorn Coaster. We then headed into Jurassic Park. This would be the first time DS would be tall enough to ride the River adventure. He loved it!!!! We got the t shirt, the picture and a lanyard for him with his name on it. He felt really cool. We then hung around Jurassic park for a while and decided it was time to get wet. We headed to Toon Lagoon for a true drenching!!!!!! We all rode Popeye's and I rode Dudley alone. DW can't take the fall and DS was alittle scared. After this, we caught the new band in toon lagoon as they entertained and played the toons themes songs like Spongebob and Spiderman.
Once done with Toon Lagoon we went back to Marvel and rode Spiderman a few more times. After this we went back to the HRH, went swimming and went to dinner at the Kitchen. This has got to be one of the worst meals I ever had. The place is really nice and the service was great, but the food was awful. DW had calamari, I had fried chicken and mashed potatoes and DS had....you guessed it....chicken tenders. Total bill with tip $44.96 The food just didn't have much flavor. I would not dine here again for dinner. After dinner, we settled in for the night.
