A Two Short, Too Different Spring Break Trip (Time to Say Goodbye)

I love MK at night. :lovestruc I need to try one of those cream cheese pretzels -- I had some spicy kind at Animal Kingdom that was really really good.

We haven't gone in the castle to check out the mosaics in a loooong time; we need to remedy that. :)

The Magic Kingdom is just so....magical at night! Between Wishes and all the beautiful lights twinkling everywhere...:cloud9: Oh and I soooooo hope they still have those t-shirts when I get back there in April! I love the Mr.Toad one! That is fabulous! I love shopping with you MeMom! :)

Too many things to comment on since I was last able to read...but I will say, Jill-your girls get more and more adorable each day! I love their 4th of July outfits. And Bella, my, my, she just keeps growing up, doesn't she???! You truly have two beautiful girls!

These t-shirts are GREAT! I have wanted a vintage Disney shirt, gotta remember to hit up that shop! And that shop is one of the very few with little boys clothing, so BONUS (or my excuse to Joe on why we have to go in there...)! :thumbsup2

OOH don't you just love MK at night!! I really enjoyed your pictures of the castle!!!!

Turkey leg and Cream cheese pretzels...YUMMY!!!!!!!

Holy cow are those vintage t-shirts...I love that!! I'm definitely stopping in the philharmagic gift store and getting me one of those!!! They are way too cute!!!

I love Magic Kingdom at night, and I think Hollywood Studios is cool at night, too. They both have such nice lighting on the buildings, and there's magic in the air!

If I had had money, I would have gotten one of them. It probably would have had to be Small World or Dumbo for Brooklynn, but then it would have been too hard to make a choice, so I guess it was good I had no money! :)

This one makes it look as if something just exploded. Very cool!

Just like a boy - loves explosions!

Thanks, Dad. What's your countdown calendar looking like today?
Have you done your shopping yet?

Memom,

I enjoyed all your updates. I love those last shirts you put up, I would like to have a few of those. Also I showed my 6 year old son your Pokemon pictures this weekend. Pokemon is his new "thing". He was really excited to see them and he was naming all the characters he knew.

Jill,

Brooklynn and Bella are precious in their matching outfits.

I'm glad the little girls and guys are liking the Pokemon stuff. I throw away a bunch of that stuff of the end of every school year. If I take it up, a parent has to come to school to get it, and that doesn't happen very often!

I'm catching up. Love all the pictures and hope you all had a great 4th!

We did. Did you get wet on your side of town?

You took some amazing pictures of MK, the Castle and the mosaics were just awesome! I took some inside the castle walk through too, I hope they came out half as good as yours. The cream cheese pretzel at the Lunching Pad is going on my list for December, I've been reading raves about them on other trip reports......LL and Jen...that would be you two!
I can't wait to see what ride you are heading to next!

I want to get some more mosaics pictures this time. I think they are really neat.

YES!

Breakfast was nice. Cracker Barrel never disappoints and I thought Jarvis was a sweetheart!

Lunch was hilarious. You had me laughing SO hard! :rotfl: Hahaha, that was great! I'm glad I got to meet Drew, too. I told Trent that I honestly didn't think he was all that shy!

Trent & I had a fun rest of the day. We got caught up in that really big storm coming out of Opry Mills. So, it looked like I had gone swimming when I got into the car. We didn't watch fireworks anywhere because of the weather, but it was still alot of fun! I'm looking forward to seeing him again! :)

Jarvis is a good guy. I don't know why some sweet girl hasn't captured him yet. I think both he and Trent are just so particular, which is good to a degree. They are both just very grounded and know what they want and will wait for it to be just right, I guess. They will be fine husbands and great dads someday when it is right.

Have you made your December reservation yet?

This is just too stinkin' cute!

:cheer2:

Pink

One of my grandmothers used to say (in jest, of course), "We don't allow no ugly babies in our family."
And I think she was right.

So that is why he was rattling around in his penny bank last night. (Which he really was .)

I have his pennies now. Get the cage ready! :rotfl:

I love walking through the Castle! It's amazing how they made those murals.

OMG! Love the Dumbo and IASW shirts! Very cute.

I'm guessing you didn't see them on your trip? They could be sold out by now. Things come and go in Disney World.

i think he's the only feathered, beaked animal that i can relate to and it's probably because we're so much alike!

ahhhh.....MK at night.

i say that about MK in the morning, too. actually, MK at any point in the day is fine by me.

You mean you both have attitudes?
Lovable, irresistable attitudes, that is. :)

Me, too. Magic Kingdom any time of day or night has it's own special charm.

Ohhh MK at night time, so prettyyyy.

I love those murals inside of the castle, they're so unique and beautiful. And Donald? Even though he's usually got his panties in a bunch over something, everyone still loves him!

Just what I was saying about him and his friend, Dawn!

Oooh...I spy cream cheese pretzels. *Drool*

Pretzels are a great in between meal snack, and they're big enough to share. Maybe I'll have one in your honor in a couple of weeks.

Lovin the castle mosaics! There's something about walking into MK that way. The detail that Disney does to everything, amazes me all the time! No matter how many times I have been to WDW I still find things that I've never noticed before.
I have never been a big fan of the turkey leg, but I'm glad that you enjoyed your dinner. The pretzel looks YUMMY!!!

Yes, going into MK when the lights are already on and being greeted by the colors and sounds and smells - it is very special.

I think people either love turkey legs or hate them. We fall on the love 'em side.

You better start making your list for February!

The Magic Kingdom is just so....magical at night! Between Wishes and all the beautiful lights twinkling everywhere... Oh and I soooooo hope they still have those t-shirts when I get back there in April! I love the Mr.Toad one! That is fabulous! I love shopping with you MeMom!

I will be glad to shop any time. :)

I should have snagged all those shirts and brought them as gifts for all of you!

I want that Mr. Toad t-shirt too, MeMom, can you hide one for me?

I will see what I can do!

Bella is going to be scooting around, crawling, walking, and running before we can blink. She's a go-getter!

Good luck on finding the shirts you want!

I think I need that Dumbo one too..

Like I tell Jill, I have to explain the difference in a need and a want.

A want is like a Mickey bar or a big screen TV or a new VB bag when you have three already.

A need is like food, water, clothing...

and an October girls only trip to Disney World. ;)

Yeah, I definately didn't see those shirts when I was there!

It seems like some things come and go very quickly at Disney World. We're learning that if we want to do or buy something, we probably should go ahead and do it before it disappears.

********************************

I went to SAM'S first thing this morning to start getting my camp food. My den is now filled with boxes of nachos and other chips, assorted candy bars, huge cans of corn, green beans, and baked beans, bottles of ketchup, mustard, and BBQ sauce, etc. and the big freezer is stuffed with waffles, chicken nuggets, lunch meat, and such.

The cat is hiding between the cases of water, thinking no on can see him. The long black tail sticking out the back gives him away. :)

So, let's all sing along as we take a ride on It's a Small World. Since it appears that we will be doing this three weeks from today, it seems appropriate.

Way to slip that in Mom. I'm working on it!

Love the pictures of ISAW and the Castle at night!! I just love the castle at night!!!!

Just like a boy - loves explosions!

Thanks, Dad. What's your countdown calendar looking like today?
Have you done your shopping yet?

Well of course. I have some camera batteries I bought on our April trip to Bangor and the socks I bought a few weeks ago.

:rotfl2:

Memom,

Do you ever get any rest? Just wondering. This may be unforgivable, but I have not ridden IASW since 1995, my first trip. I was pregnant with my first child so I have never ridden it with either of my children. I guess I should do that next time.

Love the pictures of the little 4th of July darlings.:cutie:

Oh, I wish I would have seen the tshirts. Oh well.

The last picture looking up at the castle is my favorite. Just beautiful.:cloud9:

We did. Did you get wet on your side of town?
It did rain, but it was perfect timing for us. We did a festival in town before dinner, ate dinner during the rain at home, then a bunch of neighbors did fireworks between storms. Abby still doesn't like fireworks:confused3. I was hoping the 4th would have been a good sign. We still haven't seen Wishes because she is terrified. I am secretly hoping she will be OK to see it in Nov, but I dont' want to force it on her. I thought about earplugs, but she said she won't wear them. She is a stubborn little thing - haha. She doesn't realize what she is missing. How is Brooklyn with fireworks?

Hi there
I went back and looked at the video I shot at Ohanas parade. My DD was just behind Mickey and I followed her with the camera when she went by then cut it off. It is very likely you guys passed our table right then. It would have been too funny if I had a video of you guys. :)

MeMom the niht pictures are so pretty. Really makes me miss it. We are going to get to tack on a day at Epcot on the 20th and a day at the pool at POFQ but now I really want to go to the MK.

My DD and I picked Epcot so my non-disney loving hubby's head would not explode that I am making him go more than once this year AND IN THE SUMMER (2 things he hates doing)

Ahh love the night pictures of the Castle. It's even more special to us now that we've eaten at CRT!
