A beach party sounds like so much fun...sand, shells and water!

No more sssss pics!!! (
no offense intended to those that like them)
Pogos are covered in batter, not cornbread. Looks the same, hotdog on a stick.

Yumm!
My 2-4 weekend is always minus the beer (never liked it).
Rootbeer is good.
declansdad...you are too funny.
I have to agree collard greens are yuck!

So is possum.
I wonder about the choc bars being in Epcot too. I actually havn't been there for years so I don't know. (shame on me

)
Ahhh, Cracker Barrel. I can't believe I drove past one on Sunday and didn't go in. I felt bad that DS wasn't with us, so I didn't stop. I really wanted a pecan roll. I'm saving that treat for when I'm driving threw Georgia in August.
I LOVE ALL THE SHOPPING PICS!!!
You outdid yourself....great bags....great plates....cute toys!!!
I'm back to work today

, but I'm happy it's a short week.
I've had some corndogs (mini ones) that had a batter that was less cornbready (yes, I just made that a word for my need in this sentence) and they were good. I'd probably like your POGOs. What does it stand for exactly?
I went after school and got the hot dogs, and we already have a bunch of other stuff, so I think we're all set. The weather is looking very beachy, too - sunny and warm.
I've never had possum, and I hopefully don't know anyone who has ever eaten it. A bunch of my students like 'greens', as they call them. Not I!
Pecan rolls! I love those things!
MeMom I was posting as you were this morning.
Have fun at Awards Day! Congrats! to all those well deserved students.
k_reile I don't recognize the name of the butter. I love real butter and ice cream.
It guess it must be our great Canadian Cows!!!!
A lot of our students from last year (mine and my team teacher's) got awards. As a matter of fact, all four of the Presidential Awards went to kids we had last year. We are very proud of all of them. One of the awards I like best is the Citizenship Award. When they give those out, there's a stage full of really good kids standing there. We always wonder about the futures of all of our kids, and we love it when they come back to see us.
I love those Mickey plates! I think that those are next on the list when we go back.
I saw someone mentioned Cracker Barrel -- I've never been there (none near Boston), and I'm dying to go! We passed a few signs for it when we were driving on Sunday, and I just checked and there's one just under 10 miles from where my family lives. It would have to be a secret operation, though, because my grandmother doesn't believe that we should spend money on food when we're here.
We do, too. Jill said she will be returning to AL with some this summer.
Grandmother would surely let you slide for one Cracker Barrel meal. Chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes, green beans, fried apples, corn....oh my, it's good stuff.
Have fun with awards day! Connor's was yesterday and then I had to obnoxiously brag on Facebook -- it is always a great day for both the kids and parents!
Jill will be looking forward to seeing it all on Facebook. I don't do Facebook, even though a bunch of people keep telling me I should. I think I'm too old and uninteresting for that.
Brag on! Be proud of your good son!
While we're bragging, did everyone catch that pooksma won a bunch of awards at her Drama thing? That's worth noting again, if anyone didn't know about it.
Congratulations to all of you and your kids for hard work and success in your/their pursuits!
Do you remember what you had??

I haven't eaten breakfast yet and checking out TRs and food porn just makes me hungrier!
MeMom - awesome shopping pictures! You always show things that I've never noticed before. I took more pictures of merchandise on this last trip just because I thought of how much I enjoy seeing your shopping pictures.
Enjoy the awards ceremony!
I'm enjoying your trip pictures. I don't imagine your boys cared much for the shopping, did they?
Your shopping pictures were great as usual. I don't think we even went into a single shop in Animal Kingdom!
I have two things to say about that.
Number 1 -
Number 2 - I imagine your savings account is much larger than mine thanks to that.
i think you should change your username to "memom-shopping-expert-supreme" but that may be too long for the rules. i'm not sure. shall i take some shopping pictures for you in NYC???
But if I change my name, I lose all my posts!
Also, people might run out of breath just talking to me.
Have you ever heard the story of
Tikki Tikki Tembo?
Definitely we all want shopping pictures from NYC. And Broadway poster pictures and
Disney Store pictures.
I get the same thing every time I go - chicken and dumplins (that's how you say it in the South!), fried apples, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese plus biscuits and cornbread. Brooklynn gets the pancake which she loves. John gets something different every time and has yet to find something he didn't like.
I taught the girl to love the good things in life!
However, I notice she is missing a
green vegetable.
Slide your plate over, Jill, and I'll share my green beans.
Cute bags! You said they were popular MeMom?
Here on the Dis or did you see lots in WDW? I really like them.

Have fun with awards! I spent some time in my girls' classrooms today as they both had presentations. My 2nd grader did a mystery slideshow and my 4th grader presented her state project. Fun stuff these kids are, aren't they? We get out of school on Friday! You too?
Both. I've seen pictures of them on the boards and a bunch of people said they liked them, and they were in a lot of the WDW stores.
I'm glad you were able to be at school with the kids. Did your 4th grader do something on your state, or did she do something on a different state? We always end our year with a unit on Tennessee.
The kids go a half-day Thursday, and the teachers have to continue on until Friday afternoon.
They were probably trying to find their wives.
They were trying to find their wives a what?
A nice new purse?
Well, that's very sweet!
Thanks, I try to keep people entertained as best I can. I think it comes from trying to keep students' attention in class.
Teachers have entertainer in their job description. As my level, I have to fight against the excitement of video games, and it is not easy.
I love their chicken and dumplins. I always get the fried okra (or as DH calls it, okree) with mine.
Granny Clampett would be proud!
