Hey!!!! You didn't tell her I miss her....I said I miss her
You tell her Jill....it's the only way she will listen....blackmail pictures!
Magic - Jill and everyone know's you do not want to get me started on this subject
<~~~really is me as I go from talking about what I did/loved there to the closing of the park
If you haven't already seen you should check out my first TR We had almost an entire page of Opryland Pictures Our Christmas trip in PICTURES!!!! Page 3. Maybe you can add to the fun!
And if you do get down here in Dec definitely let us know!
Yep....you, Dawn and I probably ran over each other trying to get to the Grizzly, or the Walbash, or the Rockin' Roller Coaster!
You have probably got some good pics you could post too!!
Cute
....I kept waiting for a picture of me and Brooklynn to show up....I had taken her around the corner to look at the butterfly and she wanted to touch it. I was holding her told her I didn't think she could touch it, and she just looked at me like she did not believe me
Oh and I think I forgot to say....when I have kiddo's I will be bringing them to your house for Disney parties!!! I do still hope you will be having them
I guess I'm not a very good translator, huh?
Blackmail pictures will work. That's a sure bet. I will behave.
I was trying to get you two and the butterfly in, but I couldn't get it all in the frame, and there were too many people around to back up, so I never did even snap the picture.
Everyone that wants to can come and party with us. I may have to get a third job - one for regular life, one for Disney trips, and one for Disney parties.
A little bit behind on the PARTY of the CENTURY!!!!! That party looked awesome!!!!!

I want to be at your parties!
Jill, those zoo pictures were spectacular!!
That's okay; latecomers are always welcome!
And we still have leftovers, because I only know how to prepare food for one amount of people, and that's a small army!
Jill was quite the photographer that day. I can't wait to see the awesome pictures she gets in July and August.

We were on our way to Animal Kingdom at some point last week, as I recall.
That was before all this wild partying took place.
So here we are.
We were met by this nice girl, who wanted to show us something educational.
Do you know what that is?
If

you would be right.
Do you know how many bones they have in their necks?
That was the question she asked me.
Being a third-grade teacher, I knew the answer.
Seven, just like humans.
She got a very surprised look on her face, until I told her I was a teacher, and then she laughed and said, "Oh, okay then!"
I felt the need to take a picture of the bone to show to my students. They think it's cool that they've seen a giraffe neckbone and that they have the same number of neckbones as humans.
Going on into the park.
We were stopped here, where the information board was opened in a ceremonial-type way by a nice young man.
Mickey and friends arrived,
but they left just as quickly as they came.
There was no stopping and no little opening show.
they just drove through.
I don't know if that was just for that day, or whether that's just another of those little Disney cuts. I can't imagine that they would have had to pay the CM's much more to stop and do a two minute 'Welcome to Animal Kingdom' speech, and it would have added so much to the beginning of the day, but they just drove by and waved.
I will admit to being a little disappointed.
Our first mission was to go on a two week safari and still get back in time to do a lot of other things that day.
Since I can't give the safari pictures the proper amount of time I would need to this morning (since I have to work and all), I will save those for this evening.
Have a wonderful Cinco de Mayo!
I'm thinking I may run to the store on my way to school and get the stuff to make tacos for my class. We're doing Running Records, STAR Math, and DIBELS testing this week, so a little fun in that mix would be nice. I have sombreros and a couple of blankets from Mexico that were given to me as gifts. Donald in his sombrero is already sitting in my classroom window, so he'd probably love to join us.
Anyway, make it a good day, and I'll be back with Kilimanjaro Safari pictures tonight.
