A Two Short, Too Different Spring Break Trip (Time to Say Goodbye)

I am so excited for the new Toy Story movie. The kids get so excited to go see movies in the theater that I am sure that one will on our list.

I love that four parks one world ornament! So neat!

I hope the errands go smoothly and you have a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed today's nice weather by doing our first zoo trip of the year. It was so exciting to see the difference in Liam's reactions to the animals this year. I am sure we'll be there many more times before 3.0 arrives.

Chelsea was reading this update with me this morning and when she saw a certain picture she yelled out, "It's Bo!" :lmao:

He offered us a drink, but I had a full water bottle, so I politely declined. At that point, he didn't know I knew Chelsea, so I was just another guest. Later, on our way out, when he found out we were buds with his main girl, he went out of his way to speak to us!

DH loved the pics from Star Tours! He can't wait to ride that again, and has Hannah all excited to go with him! :cutie:

I love the birthday ornaments....might have to get one for Owen. I've been thinking that his first birthday party should be Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...of course I have a few months to wait, just planning ahead.

Have a good weekend!

I enjoy that ride, too. It's shaky enough to be fun, but it's not too much. It's closed in, but nothing like Mission:Space, so it's about as far out of this world as I am going to be getting!

Those ornaments are cute. We may have to get two pink ones with the girls' names and BD dates on them for their tree.

i've never seen this! i wonder if it's new. i'm definitely going to get some of that soon! i have a few people that are going this year and i will be sure to give them some money to buy me some alice tea!

by the way, no baby news yet. i'm beginning to think that bellarie and margot have a good chance of having the same birthday!

I figured you had seen it already, or I could have gotten you some.

I was thinking of sending you a PM to see what was going on on your baby countdown, but I've had a very busy week. They could very well both go on Tuesday. We're going to have a laptop at the hospital, so we can check in periodically. Keep us posted.

I will text you during the day on Tuesday, and you can come on here and update anyone who is interested. That might be easier than us getting to the computer after a certain point in time.

We may have discussed this before...but all my videos are in alph. order too

Do you think our parents might have split us at birth?? :rotfl:

Those are ADORABLE!!!!!

This is going to be a must do for me next time....I haven't been in here in a LONG time!!

Did not know about this.....Woooooo Hooooooo :yay:

Yeaaaaaaaaa!!!! :yay::woohoo::yay:

Jill I hope you are still feeling well. Can't wait to get the news next week and see her beautiful little face :goodvibes

Tune in Tuesday evening. I don't know if there will be pictures by then, but an update, at least.

Aw Nokeynose is so cute!

I'm so excited about Toy Story 3! I had read that they were making it, but I didn't know when it was coming out so thanks for letting me know!

Hey, we call it 'the hat' too! And at Epcot, we call it 'the ball', at MK we call it 'the castle', at AK we call it 'the tree'.

Yep, mark your calendar for next summer. Maybe we should all meet in Disney World and watch it together.

Yes, four very common items in the every day world - a castle, a ball, a hat, and a tree.
Yet, for us, not common at all. ;)

Awww Brooklynn is too cute with her "that old genie man" and "nokeynose"! She cracks me up! :lmao:

I like seeing all the Star Tours pics because Jill gave us an update when she talked to you when you were waiting on that line. I feel like i was there for that

And, it as great to see a hidden MeMom! :goodvibes

Brooklynn can come up with some crazy stuff, for sure. She's such a 'growny' girl that she tries to say everything she hears, but sometimes the truth is revealed that she is still just a toddler.

That's right, I was talking to Jill while in line there. I had forgotten that.

That was a mistaken Hidden MeMom.
You will see a couple of on purpose ones in the future.

Maybe.

I think you missed my previous post since you were posting at the same time :(. Chelsea was thrilled seeing Bo again.

That Wonderland tea must be new -- I have never seen it -- I wonder if it is any good??? That would make a cute gift for my mom.

Poor Eeyore -- he looks so cold on the snowdrift.

Yeay -- a Hidden MeMom!!! :woohoo:

I guess I typed and left and never looked back.

Someone will have to try the tea and give us a report.

Eeyore was the one who wanted to get in the snow, so if he got cold, then he got cold.
Some donkeys just have to learn things the hard way!

Again, it was an accident. I will try not to damage your corneas with too many sightings of me. I look even more horrible than normal when I'm in Disney World in the heat and wind, etc.

Yeah, we'll see that one in the theater instead of just waiting to buy it.

Have you heard about the Disney Nature movie coming out on Earth Day? They had advertisements of it down there, and there is a trailer on the Disney website. It looks really good, if you like to watch animals in the wild. I want to see it.

Speaking of Four Parks, One World, I have a goal for this summer on my birthday.
I want to go to all four parks in one day, and this is my plan:

-open Epcot and ride Soarin', after about an hour, head to Cape May for character breakfast

-go to Magic Kingdom and ride the train around the park, maybe ride Splash or Big Thunder, if there is time

-go to Animal Kingdom for the Jammin' Jungle Parade

-go to Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic

What do you think?

What I do in between each of those main events will just depend on the time factor. Those things are all easily done in a good spread of time, so I know it absolutely can be done. I figure some of the others will do Soarin' with me before out breakfast, but they'll only do one or two of the other events. Hopefully, they'll at least do Fantasmic, because that would be fun to watch it all together. It is only showing every other night the week we are there, so Jill and I are wondering if we should do a dinner package or just wait in line with our turkey legs and chips like last time. We were thinking of Mama Melrose, because we have not been there, but I like the looks of Hollywood and Vine buffet because it has more choices for the whole group. I don't know about two buffets in one day, though, even if they are spread way apart.

That is my thought, as of now, as to what I'd like to do on my birthday, just to be one of the few to say I've done it. I may change my mind completely by the time that day gets here.

This morning, I went to the Disney Store to get Isabella's Disney Dollar. I also bought Brooklynn two pairs of flip flops - Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, two Mickey Earth Day bags (one for me, one for Jill), a couple of cute Nemo plates for a Nemo party some time in the future, a pack of two Ariel waterguns, and a Thumper to put with the girls' Easter stuff.

I also went to The Children's Place and saw lime green crocs. Not the real Crocs, but the Children's Place croc-like version. I also got one other pair that are swirly pink and good for wearing to the pool or just to slip in and out of quickly. She likes shoes, so Monday evening she will probably be happy getting four pairs!

Jill, sit down to read this next part.

I went to Kohl's to get Drew some new khakis, and I went over into the women's section just to see if they might have some capris for a very cheap price.

I bought myself some.

Jill?

Jillllll???

I told you to sit down!

Has Jill come out of her coma yet??? I used to ask my mom why she never bought anything for herself, and then I became a mother and stopped asking! ;)
I think that your goal for this summer's trip are very attainable. You can do it!!!!! :thumbsup2 My goals are somewhat similar to yours, ride the train in MK, Animation Studios are at the top of my list.
I LOVE the name Nokeynose!! :rotfl::rotfl:

As the kid from The Incredibles would say, "THAT SOUNDS TOTALLY WICKED!!!" :thumbsup2

Sounds better than taking a final on your b'day - oh well, a week from my birthday I'll be in Disney! I'm not attempting all four in one day, but if I happen to do any of the above, I'll hope that you are having just as much fun when you are there!

Take a whiff of the orange trees on Soarin' for me, okay?

BABY WATCH:

Jill called a few minutes ago and told me to go ahead and have a bag ready. She's having some pains. So, I jumped in the shower and am in the process of getting a bag together, in case I need to run out the door in the middle of the night. Last time, she went to the hospital and they sent her home, so we will make sure they're keeping her before we leave.

I'll keep you posted. Everybody keep her and the baby in your thoughts and prayers over the next few days - that everything will run 'smooth as silk', and we'll be home with a happy, healthy baby and mommy.

Yea!!!!!!!! I will keep them in my prayers and also prayer for you for a safe trip!!

/
Awwww.....definitely keep us updated.

I will keep her, the baby, and you traveling in my prayers :goodvibes

Come on baby Bella princess:....I know everyone is excited to meet you!!! :grouphug:

Make sure you keep us posted, MeMom!!! Lots of prayers and pixie dust headed to Alabama from our little house in Northwest Georgia!

Yes, Bo is always peddling that high fructose syrupy soda, but since Chelsea is an Atlanta girl, and Coke was invented here, maybe that is part of the allure. ;)

I think your birthday plans sound great -- what a treat to be able to celebrate your b-day at your favorite place! :goodvibes

That sounds like an awesome birthday and one that is sure to live long in your memory. It's the kind of thing though that would be wonderful if one of the kids was going to be with you on each part. Otherwise, I think you might have some of those spring break feelings again.

MeMom, I think you might have sent her into labor by posting about those capris! Just think of the stories Isabella will hear about her mother being so blown away... labor started. ;)

I hope Bella's entrance into the world is as smooth as possible!

good luck Jill...but bella rie needs to take at least enough time so her memom can make it there for the main event!:cool1:

Prayers and hugs- hope that all goes well! So excited for you all!

You are all in my prayors tonight!
BrooklynnsMommy I wish you a smooth and quick delivery.
I will check first thing in the morning for an update and maybe some baby news is in the near future....:cloud9:
I hope it's not to uncomfortable to sleep tonight, you may need your rest.
Take care, I'm so excitted for you.
:flower3:

I was so tired last night I crashed in bed early, so I missed your first day update. MGM....:rolleyes1 just kidding, HS!

I love all the plushies.

I hope the Bolt characters stay there all summer. Very neat! :thumbsup2

I hope you can have your birthday wish to visit all four parks. I think that's a perfect way to spend a day! ::yes::

How wonderful that you bought somtething for yourself today. Good for you.

I took Aaron to the States today for some belated birthday shopping, a fun day had by all.
We all came home with something, so it was successful. ;)

We didn't go to our regular favorite "Cracker Barrel", the kids chose Taco Bell instead. :confused3 I ate McDonald's. :)

Sweet baby dreams tonight! You'll be in my thoughts. princess: Isabella.

Jill called about 10:30 and said they were going to go ahead to the hospital and see what was going on, because she was not feeling well at all. They're going to call back when it is determined if they will stay or not. It is now 12:04. It takes forever in hospitals to even get in to be seen, so it could be a while before we hear anything. I am up and ready, if it's a go, but I'll be happy if they give her something to make her feel better and send her home for a good night's sleep, too. We all have a plan in order for Tuesday, so if Bella cooperates, we can all go about our business until then and follow the plan. She may have alternate plans for us all, though!

Have you guys seen the episode where Lucy goes to the hospital? Yes, it was in the days of black-and-white. Anyway, they all have their roles - calling the doctor, getting her coat and suitcase, the car, etc., and they practice calmly several times. It is a well orchestrated event. When she really goes into labor, though, they start running all over the top of each other. It's pretty cute. Even if it was in the old days. :)

We aren't running over each other, but I did have to get things together faster than I had planned. I thought I had a couple of days left to get things in order around here. I wonder if this is an indication that Isabella thinks she's going to run the show?!?!? :cutie:

Okay, it looks like it is official. :cheer2:
They are keeping her, so we are headed that way.
We'll let you know what's happening when we can get to the computer or through Erica and Dawn by text message.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! :yay:

Prayers being said for Jill and Baby Bella!!!

How excited are you MeMom?!?!?! I don't even know you guys and I'm dancing in my chair! :rotfl:
