I will have to catch up on replies later, everyone. I have had a huge load of stuff to do at school, and as soon as I get home I start working on things for the party Saurday. Unfortunately, the weather is looking bleak for us to be able to have an outside safari. Severe thunderstorms are predicted for tonight and tomorrow. Oh well, it was the only week we could have it, since Jill is about to have the baby, and 'weather or not', we'll do what we have to. It may be an improvised indoor safari, with elephants and lions hiding behind the couch!

All the kids are very young, so it probably won't matter to them. They'll all get a prize in then end, no matter where they find the animals. I'm just going to keep praying for a break in the rain at some point during the party so that we can run outside and do the safari real quick.
Erica, Jill says she thinks they are just going to come here and then head back home with no stops. If she changes her mind and decides to go by Opry Mills, we'll text or call you, and if it's still convenient for you, we'll meet you there. You're more than welcome to come over to the Disney party, if you'd like!
I'm so glad it is Friday. We had state people in yesterday, DIBELS testing this week, report cards were due, after-school tutoring Tuesday and Thursday I had to double up on groups because my co-teacher was out with strep throat, an S-team meeting one day, and a ThinkLink meeting one day.
Anyway, morning conversations with Brooklynn keep me grounded about what is important. Yesterday morning, as I was stressing about what all I had to do before school started, she had this to say in her sweet little voice:
"Hi, MeMom! I had a worm at my house."
A worm.
Very exciting for a two year old.
Thank you, Brooklynn, for reminding me about the important things.
I love you!
Have a Fantabulous Friday, everyone!
I hope you have fun, relaxing, exciting, soothing, or whatever kind of plans you need for your own happiness and sanity this weekend. We'll be back tomorrow evening with pictures of our Disney Day party, and we hope you will feel welcomed to share pictures of your family's weekend fun with us, as well.
After seeing the weather again this morning, I think when I talk to Jill this morning, I'm going to suggest that we postpone the party. I don't want everybody out traveling in the rain. I'll just see if we can come up with another date in May, after Bellarie is ready to travel, and then hopefully the weather will be a little warmer and maybe not so rainy.
Now, what to do with a Mickey cake and $162 worth of food and supplies....
Since I'm dying to see my girls, after the storms die down, the cake and I will be heading to Alabama.
