A Twilight Zone Moment

We flew back from the Member Homecoming on Sunday into the Albany NY airport.

We get the car, hop on the thruway and one of the first exits that we pass is for 'Saratoga Springs.'

I can say that we passed Saratoga Springs twice on the way back and forth from Saratoga Springs.

How's the fireworks view at the New York Saratoga Springs?

Sometimes I have a similar experience. After a week or so at WDW, I come home and find that the lawn has turned into Ft. Wilderness!!

How cool is that can you drive down and pick up a pink pig for me.lol.lol we just got home from MH too and i was just thinking darn we added on to SSR and i forgot to buy the pink pig...... i guess it will have to wait until our next "going home" at christmas.

That is pretty funny. I've seen the pepperment pig in catalogs for a number of years now. Now that I know the history I think I'll buy one for this holiday season.

I missed the piece on the Peppermint Pig. My brain was melting in the sun that day.

The real Saratoga is 2 hours from me. Maybe if you make it worth my while, I'll be the procuror of the genuine pink pig for the board. (Let's see, tolls, gas for the SUV.....probably an extra $1000.00 per pig will cover it.)

Almost every day I pass the exit sign on I-90 where it intersects with I-87. The exit says "Saratoga Springs". Just what I need on my way to work is another reminder of DVC and WDW!

Oh my! The real 'Saratoga Springs' spring water is by far THE MOST disgusting substance I have ever put in my mouth. I gagged, and nearly heaved right on the fountain.

I'm sure MG's not talking about the blue bottle kind. It isn't even close in taste to some of the serious springs in Saratoga. The real strong stuff tastes like a mixture of eggs and sulfer. It is an acquired taste that many swear by.
