A true budget meal at Steak/Shake

Boy, I sure wouldn't call that "superior customer service". :( I read this to dh and he wants you to know we won't eat there now just on the principle of the thing. ;)
 
Well, I'm sure that most people know that you can call Disney Dining to make special dietary requests 48 hours ahead of time.

I'd called because we had some PSs on one of our earlier trips, and I found out the hard way that DH is allergic to MSG. So I asked which eateries did NOT use MSG, and was told that NO food services venue (sit-down, counter-service, rolling cart) uses it at all.
I was SO relieved, and everywhere we go, I'm either reading grocery labels or asking the kitchen to provide the information prior to our ordering our meal.

I was just SO disappointed with SteaknShake, because everyone is really pleased with their menu and quality of food. But if I can't confirm that they DON'T use MSG, well- we just can't give them our business.

I wrote a reply to the "comment card coordinator" informing her that I would be posting our correspondence on 'a forum that I frequent'.

Did I do the right thing????:confused:
