Yeah, yeah I know I lost 7 pounds this week but even greater
I walked a whole mile on the treadmill HANDS FREE!! So what, you may say????
Well when DH bought the treadmill for us 3 months ago I jumped on thinking this is great. With my Queen Classic CD playing I grabbed onto the handlebars and made it through the first song piece of cake. Now mind you I am a fairly coordinated person, after all I was a springboard diver in hs and college - that takes a reasonable amount of coordination. Back to my walk, the next song starts to play Bohemian Rhapsody and I lip sync it with all of the emotion the song it performed with, eyes closed total concentration on the lyrics I let go of the bars and make hand gestures with the strains of music. Then all of a sudden I find myself sitting on the toy box a few inches behind the treadmill the earplugs torn from my ears. What happened? Well, after I looked around to see if anyone saw me fly off the equipment I realized I cant sing and be hands free. LOL!! So from that day on I have held on for fear of embarrassment and loss of limb. But today giddy from my weight loss I let go! I am please to say I not only stayed on but I increased the speed of my walk!
A very accomplished day for TK!!
