A trip to the very HOT place! DD arrived at WDW College Program!!

I just thought I would let you know that we just got back 2 days ago and unfortunately I don't think I saw Aubre. We ate at the Sunshines Seasons for lunch on Wed. (9/19) and I saw a cashier that kind of looked like what I remembered your pics of her looked like but I believe her name tag said Anna. I didn't go through her line so I didn't get a close look at where it said she was from. I didn't want to seem creepy. Last year when we were at the MK we went on a private raft ride to Tom Sawyer's Island (I am assuming it was a Year of a Million Dreams special thing) and the CM that was answering our questions said her real name was not what was on the name tag. I thought maybe they change their names on the tag because of safety issues. Anyhow if Anna was really Aubre she was smiling and looked like she was enjoying her job.

Thanks for looking out for my girl. Her nametag does have her name, so it wasn't her, but she is very much enjoying her job there. She loves it. She texted me last night that she made two new friends from China (they are on an international program) and they had American names for their nametags. I thought that was cute.

I keep telling her I want some picks of her. We are going to get to go for a weekend visit on October 19th, but we won't see her working, she is going to take off to spend time with us. We are going to go mnsshp though that weekend.

I just did my first installment of the trip report. The title is "The WDW 100 Potty Tour 2007" because it seemed like my 5 year old had to hit every potty to check it out while we were there.
I am sorry I didn't see Aubre. Originally I thought I would send a picture of her at work to you if I saw her but since I wasn't sure it was her I didn't do it( probably good too since it really wasn't her) . I remember when I moved away my mom wanted to see pictures of me working and wanted to see where I lived. It made her feel better when someone made a video tape of where I worked and lived and sent it to her. I am sure some day when my girls leave home ,if it is too far away to see them regularly, I'll want to see what they are up to and do on a daily basis. My oldest daughter already is planning on working at Disney.

We were at Disney Aug 14 to Aug 20 and we were at Animal Kingdom when it rained! that was the only rain we had for our whole entire trip too! I think it rained at some other parks at other times but we never saw it. I love your trip report! We are from near Pgh and I see you got on a plane in Philly. Are you from PA too?

Patricia it sounds like your daughter will have a great time working at a place she loves.How did she get involved with the program?Hopefully the magic she feels for Disney doesnt wear off of her since she will be working for the mouse.

We actually live in Delaware, but very close to the pa state line. The philly airport (with no back ups) is only 20 minutes away (if that).

She is having sooo much fun and making friends from around the globe. It's amazing. I hate to say, but I am a bit jealous, wish I was young and in school so I could do this, lol. Loving this beautiful weather we are having (unfortunately, I think it's getting HOT again today).
