A trip in July.. hmm, what will it be like???? with pics

I have to confess something. After I wrote what I did about Biff's wing fear, it reminded me of a nice spring day when I walking in downtown Nashville on my lunch break. I was with two of my friends and not really paying attention. When all of a sudden, out of the corner of my eye, I see an ugly-Quinzo-rat-looking-like-thing next to my foot waiting to pounce!

(I don't know if Quinzo's is a national chain, but a couple of years ago, they had this commercial starring an inbred-looking-rodent-thing singing about how great Quinzo's is. Like that's going to entice me to eat there? Think again marketing gurus.)

Anyhow, this ugly-rodent-like-creature was about to bite my foot off. I did what any normal person in this situation would do...the crazy dance... because a wild and deadly beast was about to attack my foot. Of course, the people I was walking with thought I was insane. They didn't know why I was jumping imaginary hurdles.

Turns out, the ugly-rodent-looking-thing was a baby pigeon that had fallen out of a tree. :rolleyes1 That thing had to be the ugliest wildlife I've ever encountered! Scared the wits out me...

So, I confess that I too have been scared on at least one occasion by a winged creature. I can relate to Biff, but I still think that picture is hilarious!

Ok I asked Biff why he is afraid of the birds and he said it was because when he was a kid his Grandfather had pigeon coops on the roof and one day the birds got loose and they all attacked him. :scared1: :rotfl2: I'm sorry but I pictured it and first scary than i laughed ( I got yelled at for that) oops. So he said he has always been afraid of them ever since. Well that is it his grandfather was horrible and let his pigeons attack his grandson. Not really he snuck up there and opened the coops up.

Was his grandfather Alfred Hitchcock?! :lmao:

SnoopyDancer - "Well that explains it! I wouldn't want to be attacked by pigeons"
It was nothing exciting but an explanation as to why.

Disneydad99 - "Just.... Subbing......"

For someone who doesn't like Disney, Biff sure looks like he's having a great time in the pictures!!!
Have a safe and fun weekend in WV!:goodvibes

Scott - Love the PhotoPass pictures. The first one was funny because I looked at you first and thought, "Wow! He sure was sweaty!" But then I saw that others were just as wet. Did you all just go on Splash Mountain?

Hope you have a great time in WV!

After I posted and it refreshed, I took another look at the picture. It appears you went to memoriesbysarah (not sara...I tried that first), however, memoriesbysarah is now memoriesbybetsy.

Were you happy with the basket?
