A trip full of surprises.. Good News! 6/16

I loved the updates. Your trip so far sounds amazing. It's great that you post so many pictures, it makes me feel like I am there.

Well I really woke up early to do some laundry before work and then I found your TR......

Loving every minute of it! I never thought of entering Epcot at International Gateway for ADR's ( It must be shorter than walking from the front?)

Love the boys Pirate Walt Disney shirts.

So are you lovin staying onsite?

Thanks for sharing!:thumbsup2

Loving reading your reports :) , sounds like a fantastic time was had by all   .

I love the picture of your boys holding hands. So precious! My youngest ds has that same t shirt we bought it last Sept and he still wants to wear it everyday!

Thanks! The boys love those shirts and want to wear them all the time too!:rotfl:

I loved the latest update. We ate their last August and arrived after dark. I think I also ate just as many zebra domes as you did. They are so good. I am looking forward to them again this September! I took some pictures that I am adding here. If you would like any of the originals to add to your photo album or scrapbook, I would be glad to email them to you.

I am not sure how to post them here. I added them to the photo section above and here are the direct links:

Thanks so much for the photos! The zebra domes were AMAZING! I f you want to e-mail me the pics. that would be great. .:thumbsup2

You guys look like you had such a great trip. The pirate cruise sounds like fun and the boys looked so excited after. I am glad that you enjoyed Boma...I really enjoy it there and don't find it too exotic. Although I like the Zebra Domes I think the chocolate mousse wins!!! SO YUMMY!!!

Can't wait to read about EPCOT.

Hey Figment! The boys really did love the pirate cruise. We LOVED Boma! I will post about Epcot either tonight or tomorrow, kind of a busy day today!

Absolutely LOVING your report. Glad the pirate cruise was a hit, I think we'll wait a few years based on the ages of the kids in the boats and the activities you described, I think I could let both of them go in a year or two. Glad you liked AK, I considered Boma for our trip but it was so out of the way to get to I decided not to, now you have me kicking myself. I want to go there so DH will fall in love with it and let us stay there ;) . Love the pics and the report. SUCH a cute pic of the boys holding hands, it would be my favorite too! Thanks for sharing, can't wait for more!
Lesley

Aw thanks Lesley that means alot coming from such a trip report guru as yourself!:rotfl2: Don't worry about not trying Boma, maybe that is something you and Tim could try on your adults only trip next year!:thumbsup2 The boys holding hands is so precious to me because those moments are so few!;)

OT- can you tell me how to quote multiple posters into 1 post:confused3 Thanks!

WELCOME!:cheer2: Thanks for joinong us! We thought walking through the Int'l Gateway was great and it is definitely much closer to do that then from the front. We LOVED staying onsite. It was an incredible experience:wizard: We are definitely hooked:rotfl:

Well I am excited that I can pass on something I just learned myself! At the bottom of each post next to the quote button there is another icon with quotation marks and a + below it. Just go along and click on that for each post you want to quote and then click on reply and they will all be there. Then you can go in and delete parts of them and just leave the part you want to reply to. Then go OUTSIDE the [/quote] and write your response.

Dis Runner - I am going to have to subscribe! I have gotten hardly any work done thus far today because I am reading your TR, but I am enjoying it, so I guess that's okay. You are obvoiusly from my neck of the woods (but I'm probably farther South), so I must give you the Jersey "Hey!". Also, our kids seem very close in age - my DD is 7.5 and my DS will be 6 in just three short weeks.

Your trip report is fantastic; I can't wait to read about Epcot - that's our favorite park.

Also, as an aside - Hi, Lesley! I read your TR from last June and loved it!

Thanks PittyPat!:cool1: Obviously it worked! I'm grateful!

WELCOME DRAGONFOX!:cheer2: I am so honored to be your 1st post!:thumbsup2 It is funny how obssessed you can become with these trip reports. That's how I started mine. I got hooked on a few others!:rotfl: I am from Ocean County. How about you? Yes our kids are close in age Eric is 5 1/2 and Matthew just turned 7. Thanks for posting ! Lesley has fans everywhere she is the queen mum of the DIS boards!:rotfl2:

Wow! That pirate trip is so cool!! I can totally see my kids LOVING that in a few years. I'll have to add it to my list of Disney must-dos!

I am from Salem County (exit one on both the NJTP & 295!) - now, for all you non-New Jerseyans, you will not understand that joke! LOL

I have signed DS up for the pirate cruise that takes off from the Grand Floridian. However, I am too excited myself and spilled the beans already. My daughter will be having tea with Alice the same day.

Well, I'm back and finally caught up! I was in the hospital last week with a killer stomach virus (I'm much better now!) and had all sorts of meetings this week so I'm behind on my trip report reading!

I loved the Pirate's Cruise pics. Shh--I'd really kind of like to do this myself. It sounds like a blast!

Coming up...... BOMA=INCREDIBLE!:cloud9:

Did you let my DH take this picture? Because we usually end up with at least ONE picture with a thumb in it! :rotfl2:

I don't really enjoy swimming so I have never personally dipped a toe in either of the water parks. I'm so glad to hear about them--it sounds like you had a really good time. I did get a chuckle about your little one getting accidentally dunked, though!

Can't wait to read more!

That is so great your son will love it! I'm sure your DD will love the tea too! Wow you really are from SOUTH JERSEY! Isn't Bruce Willis from your neck of the woods?:confused3

:scared1: OMG Amy! I am so glad you are feeling better! I was starting to get worried about you! In fact I actuaaly posted on your TR because I didn't no how else to get in touch with you:confused3

The waterpark was really alot of fun! Of course it was so funny when we flipped backwards but I felt bad because Eric's worst fear had become a reality!:rotfl2: Yes DH did take that picture!:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: I knew someone would mention the thumb! Good catch :thumbsup2

Thank you, my friend! You can always send me a PM if you'd like to get ahold of me. :thumbsup2 Although, I wasn't checking those much, either. Mal & MickeysMommy were worried about me, too.

:rotfl2: about your DH's thumb. Alex always manages to get either the camera strap or his thumb in the picture. Thank heavens we have a digital now. :lmao:

Day 5 Epcot part 1..... Bryan where are the kids?

We hadn't made an official rope drop yet. At the Animal Kingdom we arrived just at rope drop! I wanted to make it to Epcot by 8:40 at the LATEST! I made the wake up call for 7:00. The wake up call came and we were dressed, sunblocked and fed and out the door by 7:50. We walked to the Epcot Bus line and low and behold NO ONE else was there:banana:

IMG_1246.jpg

We waited about 10 minutes for a bus and then we were on our way! Our game plan was that Bryan was going to run and get FP's for Soarin and we would wait for him outside the entrance for Test Track! After we made our way through the turnstile the boys and I went over to the stroller rental and Bryan went to position himself properly to run for those FP's. We paid in advance for our stroller rental so the CM only needed to stamp our receipt and off we could go. WELL, we get to the strollers and there is no CM:confused3 HELLO, angry mob waiting for strollers (me included):rotfl: Where are they? Finally one comes over and everyone is pushing and shoving trying to write their names on the cards.:crowded: I told the boys to stand right next to me and hold on to my bag! Well I finally get the card and the stroller and tell the boys to get in the stroller. I put the card in the little slot and my bag on top and start pushing then Matthew yells "Mommy, where's Eric?" I said what do you mean? He says "Eric's not in the stroller!":scared1: HOLY CRAP WHERE IS HE ?:confused3 I turn around and he is running towards me hysterical crying and screaming "MOMMY":sad1: I grab him and ask him what happened and he tells me that he sat in the wrong stroller:eek: Turns out there was a woman standing right next to me with a double stroller so ours were against each other and when I said get in, he got in the wrong one and then when her daughter went to get in she screamed " There's a boy in my stroller" (funny now, terrifying then) when Eric saw her the mom said he screamed, jumped out and went running! Thank goodness she had the insight to follow him back to me! After this episode we head over to Test Track to meet up with Bryan. We get there and he hadn't arrived yet. We park the stroller I grab both boys hands and we go near the entrance. I swear were not bad parents! Well low and behold who is walking towards us...........the Dream Team:cheer2: I don't see Bryan but heck if he's not here were following them in. So just as they approach where we are standing I see Bryan walking around the corner and I yelled "RUN", so he starts running and we get in line. There are only 10 people in front of us. The whole time I'm thinking the Dream Team will be on the other side of the ride preview doors. Well, after about 3 minutes of waiting we hear an eruption of cheering:eek: OH NO, we missed them again:sad2: The people that were in the room right before us got DREAM FASTPASSES:rolleyes: This is turning out to be just a great day!:lmao: We ride test track and then we head over to mission space! Eric is too short so he and I look around the gift shop and wait for Bryan and Matthew. Matthew ended up loving it. They went on the side without all the spinning. They wanted to go again so they did. After they came out we walked towards The Land. Once there we decide to ride Living with the Land before our FP's because there was no line.

I love these pumpkins, I think there so cute!

IMG_1250.jpg

After the ride we FP Soarin again and then go ride it.

LOVE this ride! I really think is so realistic. I always lift my feet up when we get close to the water!

After Soarin we head over to the character connection and club cool! The Character Connection was our first stop!

IMG_1255.jpg

We had never been in here before! It was so cute!
Next we headed to Club Cool. Last trip the boys loved trying all the different sodas, they thought it was such a big deal because we were actually letting them drink soda! The "Beverly" was out of order during our last trip so no one but me knew how gross it was so I filled up 3 glasses and gave it to my 3 boys at the same time:rotfl: :lmao: It was sooo funny watching there faces and I just could not stop laughing, I really needed this laugh after our scary morning!

After we were done here we headed to the Seas to ride the Nemo ride. The line was 40 minutes long! So we skipped it and decided to come back later! Then we headed over to the Sunshine Seasons in the Land for lunch!

Will our afternoon get better:confused3
