What a cute breakfast, it looks like Shelby had a great time!I love the empty DHS pics too, how cool that you guys were the first family in there! Can't wait to see what you did next, hope it was ToT!

Once our wonderful Character Breakfast at Play & Dine was done, we headed out the doors to take on Hollywood Studios! RD must have JUST happened cause it looked like a mad rush down the main street on HS. I just had to get 1 more pic of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" to throw in Ben's face (which last night he still said that it is NOT a Disney movie)
Now in Ben's family it is a tradition for someone on their 1st trip to get Mickey/Minnie ears. Well 07 was my 1st trip & wanna guess who did not get Minnie ears! I was getting them this time! And so was Shelby! Koby saw these & had to get them!
Brady, who is always on the goofy side had to get these!
And little miss got the baby Minnie ears (which she did not keep on until she got home!)
I remember from reading to go 1st thing & get TSMM fastpasses or you will be out of luck. Well, I think everyone at Disney read that! That line was backed up all the way past Pixar Place for literally a mile or more long. Uh no thank you. I really want to ride this, but I am NOT waiting in that line for fastpasses. No thank you! If I don't ride it, oh well. Especially after no waits at Epcot, I wanted to keep that theme going! So, Ben says, "Hey lets go get fastpasses for Rock n Roller Coaster!" Awesome! I love this ride, I do believe it is my favorite one, Everest is a very close 2nd! So off we go & of course we have to stop & get a pic in the front of the hat! Too bad Koby's birthday ears block Shelby's face!
Now before we left, Brady is all amped up ready to ride RnRC & ToT! Until he sees this:
Apparently he didn't remember seeing that from the 07 trip. Conversation goes something like this:
Brady: Mommy, THAT is ToT?
Me: Yes, Brady
Koby: And Brady it picks you up 13 stories & just drops you!
Me: Koby shut up!
Brady: Mommy does it really do that?
Koby: Yes! Like 5 times!
Me: Koby, Shut Up!!!!!
Brady: Mommy, I don't know if I want to do that.
Koby: Oh come on you big baby
Brady: Shut up Koby!
Me: If you boys don't stop I swear I will put you on your knees in the front of the hat for all to see.
Nice huh? Thank you Koby. So we make the turn by ToT and.......
Ben has the Saints jersey on, Koby is next to him. Can you tell who was excited? Ben comes back with:
Well we have time to kill, so we head off to....
That's right, The Great Movie Ride! No wait! We park the stroller & walk right on in! I love this ride. I don't know why, but I do, maybe because it's my 2nd time at Disney?
Now last time we went, there was the no flash photography statement & I was upset. I had a new camera & did not know how to turn the flash off. This time I knew how! So I got tons of pics of that. I won't bore you with all of those.We still had sometime to kill before RnRC, so we headed off for....
Check out that wait time! Heh heh heh. This was the theme of the trip! I love Muppet Vision 3-D. I think it's adorable. Come to think of it, there isn't much at Disney that I don't like. But anyway....

Finally it was time for us to go in.
After the show was over it was time for us to head to RnRC! Yeah Baby!!! Now due to Koby running his mouth to Brady about it, Brady chickened out. I could have slapped Koby, in fact, I think I did. Which led to another heated discussion. But Koby & I rode it first. In the fastpass line I explained to Koby that even though he was trying to help Brady, all he really did was scare the living crap out of him. And why is it that you get dirty looks when you are bypassing all the people in the stand by? Uh stupid, I am not cutting. I got fastpasses, next time be smart about it! So after we did RnRC, Ben went to check for fastpasses for ToT. All out. Wait time 40 mins. Nope, no thank you. We will check back later. So Ben heads out & gets...
Now we got these at around, 11:30 am, look at the time for us to ride!!!! We head off to Toy Story Pizza Planet. I got the salad, NOT good. The boys got pizza, along with Ben. Once again, Shelby ate off our plates. And once again, she did not eat. By this time I am limping & my feet are starting to swell. So the crocs come off. And I am cursing myself for buying these stupid shoes & not bringing my comfy Nikes! So after the boys eat, they want to go play in the arcade of course. I am content to stay there, my aching blistered, swollen feet propped up with Shelby & Ben & the boys can go play. After spending a good 30 mins in there, they come out. Ben & the boys want to do Star Tours. Once again, I am not into that ride, so I sit & chill at Pizza Planet with Shelby while they all go.
Before long....
The guys get back & Brady thought that it was awesome!!!! I am telling Ben & showing him my feet & saying that I have got to find new shoes are there is no way I can continue. So we head off to look for shoes for me. Now I see this adorable shop & I FREAK! I absolutely love the movie It's A Wonderful Life & when I saw this I cried like a baby. It's A Wonderful Life was my mom's favorite movie. So it's always a bittersweet movie for me every Christmas.
And of course the boys had to take a pic with the snowman.
. By this time the crocs are in the bottom of the stroller & I am walking HS barefoot. I got a few looks, but I did not care. My feet were not hurting!!!
We walk across & see Lightening McQueen & Mater! Cars is another one of my favorite movies!
Shelby loves them too, but she was asleep again & I did not have the heart to wake her up. Maybe next year she will get to see them. Not too long after she wakes up & goes in the stroller. Until we meet my favorite monster!
Notice the shoes on my feet...the CM said that I had to wear them. I wanted to make her feel my pain, but I was nice. Now this child has not really walked around since we left home on Friday night. She wants DOWN! And my husband who swears that he will never put his child on a leash will soon eat those words! We find a gift shop that sells them, of course all the way at the front of the park! Let's just say she was thrilled! But I'll let the pics do the talking.
HAHA!!! Instant happy baby girl! Ben now swears that she will be on a leash next time for Disney. See Benjamin, never say never!!!! Another one of those "neener neener neener" moments for me!
We start to walk back into the park again & we look up at the sky & see this:
Uh oh, that does not look good! Next thing you know the floodgates of heaven opened. Now I had brought ponchos with us, but guess where they were at....yep at the Resort! Good one Joni! Time to run for cover! We find Playhouse Disney Live on Stage with just a 10 minute wait. And I have yet to find new shoes, so yes, I was still barefoot!

She hasn't quite grasped the concept of sitting down & waiting yet, so she was not too happy. Koby complained & said that this was too baby & didn't want to do it. Once again we had to explain to him that we had to do things for everyone, not just him. He's 10 now, shouldn't he understand that? Or maybe because he didn't want to do baby things on his birthday. No clue. And whether he wants to admit it or not, he liked it.

You gotta love an older brother don't ya? I think little sisters are just as bad though, I used to torment my older sister because she was the timid one....my mother slapped me almost everyday for that

This is another one of my favorites & I will really be sad when my babies will be too big to see this. I am not looking forward to that day at all.

I did not have the heart to tell him that they do that show every day all day long & that it was not really Minnie's birthday. I'll let him keep that bit of magic to himself! When I was little I had a rainbow leash that my mom kept me on practically everywhere we went because I was so rowdy! I loved that thing!

Bet that made your day since he sounds like such a grown up little boy. My oldest is only 5 and some days I'm like, come on just be a baby. I joke with my dh about our little guy (2 yo) being too old and needing another baby. 
Hope you found some shoes or the blisters stop or the pain or something.

Like I said, I did not have the heart to correct him. He still believes that it was Minnie's birthday. My MIL who went a year ago saw the same one. Well he tells her all about it & says, "Grandma! Minnie had the same birthday as me!" She just smiled & said, "How cool is that Koby?!" Thank god for a Disney loving grandmother!

I can't believe I forgot this when I posted the ASMu pics! Here is the map of the resort. I circled the area we stayed in. We were very close to Melody Hall (and the place to get on the buses were in front of Melody Hall) & the parking lot, which was great since my cell charger decided to act about how the boys were acting & I had to leave my BB in the car overnight to charge!
We stayed at ASMu for our 2009 trip and we were in Building #5
What a walk we had.

It was a Payless brand of crocs, not the name brand. I wore them before we left for a full day of shopping with no problems. Ben had the same pair in black. He said his feet hurt, but at the end of the day at WDW your feet hurts anyway! Apparently, after 1 1/2 days in those, my feet couldn't handle it. I would wake up & LITERALLY could not walk for 30 mins without holding on to the beds!
