If I am not mistaken, we were in the Barber shop at the same time. Your family looks familiar! My big ol' DH got a haircut, my 10 year old DD got pink and white stripes, and my hunka hunka 3 year old princess got a haircut and pixie dust. It would have been Monday morning, it think?

When we left off, I was crashed the minute we got back to the resort. Up for almost 48 hours for me & over 48 hours for Ben & all day at Epcot just did us in! So I crashed early, like 7 pm! Some vacation huh? Now we brought the laptop with us and at the end of each day I had planned to upload the pics to the laptop so I could clear our my memory card & start the next day fresh. Well, I wake up at 1 am and realize that it is my baby boy's 10th birthday! It's also Father's Day! Then, it's Play & Dine at Hollywood & Vine today! (I swear I was way more excited about this than anyone else!) I lay down & doze back off. Only to dream that we overslept & we missed our 8 am ADR! Well I am awake & check the clock. 2 am. GREAT. Then I realize, I never uploaded the pictures from the drive OR Epcot! WONDERFUL. So I carry my butt outta bed, grab the laptop, plug it in, hook up the usb cables & start uploading. An hour later, finally done. Shut down the laptop, walk back to my car because I forgot the charger for my camera, get back in the room, charge my camera & off to sleep I go. Only to wake up again at 5:40 am. Well, I am up & there is no way I was missing that ADR today! I enjoy a few minutes of peace & quiet until I hear a certain little missy playing in her "crib". So I get her out & once she is up, everyone wakes up! She makes sure of that. I go into what I like to call "Hitler Mommy Mode". It's "GET UP! TAKE A SHOWER! GET DRESSED! NOW! GO! GO! GO!" Which really ticks Ben off too, I tend to boss him while I am bossing the kids. Around 6:30 am we are all dressed!Guess I was just a little early!
Here is Shelby watching Playhouse Disney in her tutu that she was wearing. After all, she was meeting June & June is a ballerina, so we had to dress the part! Now this is blurry because a: it was taken on my BB & b: she was dancing, but you get the idea:

I had told Ben that since our ADR was for 8 am, we had to be on the bus for 7 am. Well, we got on there pretty close. We got to HS at 7:30. There was a special line for us to wait in for the Play & Dine ADR. We were the 1st ones in line. I didn't think this had anything special to go along with it, but we will find out soon. So we are waiting around for them to let us in. The park is completely closed. It looked like a ghost town! Well, you can judge for yourself!

About 10 minutes to 8, they let us in the park. Well, since we were the first ones in line. For a brief second, we had the park to ourselves. Until the next family walked in. I look at Ben & make the comment, do you realize that we are the first family on the park? He shrugged it off & mumbled like "yeah cool" or something like that. I thought it was pretty cool that we walked 1st on the park! Walking to Play & Dine:

So we get to Hollywood & Vine & we check in at the podium that is outside. Ashley family of 5, yes we have a birthday boy, yes we need a high chair. They said it would be 5 or 10 more minutes before they let us in. Ok no problem, I can take pictures while waiting! Now I love the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit & we watched it a few times before we left on tv. I had made the comment to Ben about wondering if it was a Disney movie. He said he doubted it. Well, this proved him WRONG! AHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Guess it is a Disney movie after all Ben! So there! Neener neener neener!!!

So finally they call "Ashley Family". I walk up, that is us! And we get told, "Congratulations Ashley family! You are the 1st Family of the Day here at Disney's Hollywood Studios! Welcome!" They open the doors to Hollywood & Vine for us. Now had I known what to expect there would be pics, but nope there are none. So let's use our imagination that we learned about from Figment yesterday....doors open wide, every waitress, cook, waiter, you name it applaud US as we enter the doors! Yes, I am crying again! Our sweet waitress (which I would have had gotten a pic of her too, she was amazing) walks up, introduces herself, (I don't even remember her name, actually I don't think I heard it, I was so wrapped up in everything) and walks us to our table. We get presented with this:

More tears! OMG we really ARE the 1st family of the day!

So I am crying my eyes out. Our waitress takes our drink order & says "feel free whenever you are ready to head to buffet". While we are talking Brady grabs the camera & starts taking pics of the inside. Thank god he did! It totally slipped my mind!

Koby gets up, fixes his plate of food & brings back a plate for Shelby. I get up to fix my plate & Brady runs to me yelling, "Mama!!!!! June is talking to Shelby!!!" Now had I had known she would have been there so soon, I would have waited. When we did Chef Mickey's it took them forever for them to get to us! But it was one of the perks of being the 1st family of the day! Ben this time got pics of it (which redeemed him from the Stitch episode at Epcot) as I run back to our table! Shelby meeting her June:

Now the pics of June had me grinning from ear to ear & I was crying yet again. Just when I stop, I started up again! Go figure!Up next was her Leo. Now if you read my PTR, I have the most adorable pic of her posted with her hands by her face just looking at Leo with so much adoration. Her meeting him, you guessed it, more tears!

And btw, that is MY chair Leo took over to sign the books!!!

Now Leo finds Shelby's Little Einstein toys, he had fun playing with them!

Awwww he loves Rocket!

Then he spots her Annie doll!

And now her June doll! Now June is all the way across H&V, but he is determined to show her!

Now I mentioned before that all day yesterday she hardly ate, which is unlike her. If you notice her plate of food, she hardly touched it! Again, not like her. In fact, the food amount grows on her plate, in the hopes that there will be something on there that she will eat! I think she finally ate a few bites of watermelon. And the Playhouse Disney lady was awesome! In fact, I want her job! I sing Playhouse Disney songs all day, everyday for free!!!!

Shelby LOVED meeting Handy Manny! Two years ago for Halloween Brady dressed as Handy Manny & he was sure to let him know that! That got Brady a High 5 from Manny! I asked Manny where the tools were & he "told" me back at the shop. It was too cute! After Manny left us, then it was time for more Playhouse Disney songs!

After the above pic, I turned Shelby's high chair around so she could watch. Poor baby was trying to break her neck to see what was going on!

At this point, she gets fussy & wants to get out of the high chair & dance around. Well, Ben takes her out & off she goes!!!!

By this point, I look at Ben & tell him to go get her!!!!

By now Koby is bored. He is 10 today. This is for babies, this is stupid...blah blah blah. Our wonderful waitress sees this & brings out Koby's birthday surprise! His birthday cupcake & his birthday card!

I think it cheered him up, if not he was being a really good sport about it. The Playhouse Disney lady asks who has a birthday today. Koby raises his hand. She wants him to go stand up with her so everyone can sing to him & all the others who raised their hand. He was not having it. Well, she sure showed him!

After Koby was thoroughly embarrassed, we got another surprise! Apparently Leo told June about Shelby's June doll! So she came back to see Shelby & her doll!

She also loved Shelby's tutu! She was touching it & "fixing" it in the high chair. I told her, "See June, Shelby will be a ballerina just like you!" She looked at me & nodded, I would say smiled, but June is always smiling! She decides to dance with Shelby in the high chair.

This was Shelby's reaction when her June left her!

Leo came back around to make sure he had signed the books. Of course he sure had!

Now the food, from what I can remember, was good. I really didn't eat that much because I was too busy taking pictures of it all (as if you couldn't tell! ). It was a great experience, and if you have kids who watch Playhouse Disney, I highly recommend it! It was fabulous! We probably won't do this one again since the boys will be older when we go back, even though Shelby will only be 2. They will just get subjected to CRT instead! And no, none of the food on Shelby's plate went to waste. We ate it before we left. We stayed there for an hour & a half!

Coming up tomorrow, Hollywood Studios! Will I ride Tower of Terror? Will Brady ride Rock n Roller Coaster? Will I chop my feet off from all the blisters? And how in the world did I twist my ankle, maybe the rain had something to do with it. And yes, I walked Hollywood Studios BAREFOOT!!!!! True Cajun at heart!

What a fabulous breakfast and character interaction! Shelby looks adorable in her tutu. I wonder if JoJo will be replaced since they NEVER show her on Playhouse Disney anymore. They took Bear out of the Playhouse Disney Live show, so I figure JoJo is just a matter of time.

It was wonderful! I loved it, even though I didn't get to eat much! I am sure Jojo will be replaced since they just replaced Goliath not that long ago, probably something like Special Agent Oso is my guess.

He gets told Happy Birthday literally every 5 mins for 5 days straight! At first he was shy & wouldn't say "Thank you" by then end of it, he would say "Thank you' with an eye roll lol

Whether he wants to admit it or not, he loved the attention. Brady on the other hand, said that no one asked him what he was celebrating, until our last day by his favorite character. I knew that would happen!

Yes girl the very first! I thought it was pretty awesome myself. We wound up missing rope drop due to breakfast, but I could have careless.

And thanks! I enjoyed it & you can tell by the pics Koby did too, he is just at that age where he is too cool to admit it!

Thanks! I thought it was sooooooooo cool! Ben did too, once it was "official". She was awe-struck when she saw them. When they would walk away she would start "talking" up a storm, as if she was telling us who she just saw! Then they would come around again & speechless!
