I haven't really been looking at a lot of your FB pics because I knew you would be using them in your TR! I can't believe you took so many! I hope someday I can take 1000 pictures at Disney!

So at 7:30 pm on Friday, June 18th we pulled out of our driveway & started our 12 hr trip to Disney! As you know from my PTR, the car was packed up 4 days earlier, so all we had to do was hop on in! The boys were loaded down with activities, Shelby had her toys & the dvd player & dvds were ready to go! Stop to fill up the car & get drinks, after the "go potty NOW" before we left. And of course filling up the car means picture time! They were a little excited!

Well, maybe not Brady & Shelby

We get on Hwy 90 to get on I-10 & what do I see? This!

Rain!!!! I had flashbacks from reading Becky's TR about when it stormed her entire trip there & said a silent prayer that the rain would not follow us to Disney.
And I had to get a pic of Ben driving. Now he had been up since 5 am that morning for work & we were driving straight through! He was exhausted!!

Now Shelby has NEVER been on a road trip before & she loves her bed. She hates to be rocked & if we have been out shopping past her bedtime she screams in her carseat until we can get home & put her to bed. So I was very apprehensive on how she would act in the car. And before we can get to I-10, she was crying, ready for bed. So it was big brother Koby to the rescue!

Not even through half of the 1st episode on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, she was crying again.

And a few minutes later, I look back in the backseat & see this:

Now by this time we were on I-10 in New Orleans. I'm thinking awesome! She will be out for the night & this trip will be great!!! About an hour or so later, we crossed into Mississippi. I took a pic of the sign, but it came out super blurry so I had to delete it. Oh well. An hour after Shelby fell asleep, she woke up again. She was happy for a hour & then went back to sleep. Another hour nap & she was up again & this time she was NOT happy. She cried & screamed & cried & choked on her tears. We crossed into Alabama around this time

& she had moments of sleep & screaming. Koby had no trouble falling asleep through the screams though!

Brady stayed awake & as we got into Mobile, this was how I saw him when I looked in the back seat.

Shelby on the other hand........

Now traffic was awesome. There was none, no wrecks, no construction. We got to the Florida state line in 3 hours!!!! Which I did not get a pic of, cause I didn't think the sign was RIGHT after the state line on a bridge! Oh well. Before long I looked in the back seat & this was Brady:

Shelby was in & out of sleeping & screaming & my heart was breaking.

Coming up next....will Shelby FINALLY give up & go to sleep?

I still have no clue how I dealt with it. I just kept talking to her & telling her it was ok & she just needed to close her eyes & go night night & when we woke up she would get to see Mickey Mouse.

That is awesome we used the same fabrics for pillowcase dresses!!! My boys were never car criers, so this is new to me with her!
