We also did Knott's Merry Farm in November. It was a fun day, but we did not care to repeat it. I knew that it would not be Disney quality and was prepared not to expect that. Our concern was the obvious lack of safety compliance that day (guests and employees), e.g. guests clearly skirting the rules and employees turning a blind eye, tables not cleaned (wiped, but not cleaned -- bits of food stuck to the tablecloths, etc.). We cleaned our own tables and looked after our own safety, but after being accustomed to the safety standards in DTD, it was disappointing.
And I, too, and very glad to see CMs returning to work.

It sounds like it went down from the Halloween experience. We were impressed by the cleanliness and that 99% of the guests wore their masks, plus everyone we saw were practicing social distancing. I'm planning on going to both the Boysenberry Festival and really looking forward to Touch of Disney. I think the pricing is on par with Disney events.

I really wish I was closer. Even if we had to drive say 6 hours we'd go to this. But flights have gotten spendy and I don't know if my 8 yo would fully understand no rides before we got there.

We were just uncomfortable. Friends we were with loved it.

Comparing Disney events, the Villains event listed as $145 (kids and adults) for a 10p-1am (6pm entry allowed) event, free parking. Yes, you had rides and entertainment, for more than twice the price.

Exactly; so $75 is not really THAT much out of line. Pricey, but not excessively beyond Disney standards.

It is sort of comparable to public transportation, except public transport is a necessary item in most cases, and Disneyland is a luxury. And since the state has said "No rides" and they will be the ones to approve the reopening, Disney isn't going to endanger that.

IN MY OPINION - It really depends on IF AB 420 passes. Without AB 420, maybe Sept? With AB 420, we stand a chance by Memorial Day. I know a lot of people think it could be sooner if AB 420 passes (we could reach Orange if all the planets align by mid-April) but thinking of all the maintenance to get rides back up after sitting idle for more than a year gives me pause to give them more time. I mean, the Wheel of Death was in pieces a couple weeks ago when we were there. We could see soft openings by mid May, but really thinking end of May at the earliest. Will be very happy to eat my words.

Quick question: did I miss it or is the Pacific Wharf Café not in the food guide? Isn’t that kind of strange? Why would it not be part of this? If it remains closed, is there anything to be read into that?

That's one I was hoping for too even though I can get that sourdough locally (I'm near SF). Just not Mickey shaped

Not yet. I've followed the official Legacy Passholders account on Twitter and Facebook as Disney has strongly implied they will get first notice of when tickets go on sale on Thursday.

(My old AP expired one day before the Legacy Passholders cut off!)

tickets for a special event, so I don’t know how this works. Will I need a special link that they send, or it is just through their website with my AP number?

Nothing special needed for these. They should be on Disney's website under Ticketing - Special Event Tickets.

People are saying between 12:01am and noon. I have never seen an event go on sale at midnight, personally. Most have gone on sale at 9am or 11am when I have done them. It is a wait and see thing.... Hopefully they will post a time soon.
