A toddler, preschooler and Disney - Oh My! Pretrip Report

I love all of your creations. I am going to do my tshirts tomorrow and saturday so I am glad to hear how easy amy's transfers were to use. I love the bags you made for the kids. They will be so excited.

I love your PTR!! Our first trip as a family was when my girls were 3 and 10 months old.

We just moved at a slower pace...but still had a GREAT time with priceless memories. So worth it in my opinion! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!

I have a DVD camcorder...that we always drag with us...but never use. I really don't like spending the trip behind the camcorder. But that's just me. :)

And as for the plane ride...we didn't use a DVD player...I let my kids play with pipe cleaners and crayons. I had a few other activities....but found out there weren't necessary at all. The pipe cleaners occupied them for almost the whole trip!! No mess and quiet too. (gotta LOVE quiet with kids...LOL)

I'm here! You guys are going to have an amazing time! All of your shirts and other goodies look great. Amy's transfers truly are the best, and worth every penny.

I would agree that if it were just your YDS, the trip wouldn't be as worth it. But your ODS is going to have the time of his life. My ODS loved it. Around day 3 I asked him, "Is Disney World as good as you though it would be?" And he said, "It's so much better!" Best answer ever! I felt like the trip was for him, and as long as my YDS wasn't unhappy, I considered it a success for him as well.

Since there are several who read my PTR about to go with 2-5 year old boys, I was thinking maybe I'd list my boys' favorite rides, etc. on there, if you're interested!

Holy Cow 100 Diapers!!!! Thats more than 10 a day how many times do you change him?

We work on 5 a day and that is usually being generous.

I would not take as many and if on the the off chance you do need another pack, just buy it. I know it will be more expensive but but then at least you don't have to cart them all with you.

I love all the stuff you have done for the boys, they will love them and look so cute in those wee shirts.

Not long now you must be beside yourself with excitement.

I'm so excited and so nervous at the same time! If the plane ride goes okay then I will be happy!

I never about 100 diapers?! That does sound like alot eh? I've downsized considerably LOL We're on the road for 9 days and I figured 7 changes a day (just to be safe) so I'm taking about 65 - they take up SO much room in the suitcase it's crazy - even when they are sealed in the plastic.:scared1:

I have some more pics to post but I'm at work right now....shhhhh.... so I'll do it tonight! We leave for Bangor ME in the afternoon and fly out at 6 AM on Thursday.

Please send LOTS of positive plane vibes to me. Air travelers can be so nasty sometimes I hoping (PRAYING) it goes well.

I wouldn't worry about the plane too much. I've traveled with little ones, and I find that as long as I am respectful of others they are usually the same. People in general understand that kids aren't perfect, and that parents are usually doing the best they can.

I really like your tshirts! Those are so cute!

I hope you have a really good time. If the kids get fussy, just take a break and realize you can't always do all you plan for! Looking forward to hearing about it when you get back.
