A tip for when meeting the Characters

Thought someone else might remember this when taking pics of their child or other family with the characters. KEEP YOUR CAMERA READY, and up to your face to continue taking shots even AFTER the "pose." I have missed more good pics by just taking the posed shot and then lowering the camera just in time to miss cute shots when the characters were interacting with the kids, or hugging them, or even getting kissed by the Princesses.
 
We leave in just a few days.

Right! The candid shots are forgotten as everyone poses now. My kids are four. Just from watching by the end of one of our trips, when they met a character they hugged, posed, kissed, and shook hands! Almost predictably! Our last trip I made it a point just to watch and have my husband take the picture from "afar" so The kids would interact more and enjoy!
 
I can assure you that most characters would much rather just enjoy the interactions than pose for pictures and sign autographs!

Giggly excited children are much more fun than robots...
