A Time to Heal, Pre-Trip Report for 11/29/07

I know exactly how you feel, we have 5 days to go and I just realized DH's suitcase is going to be too small. So thankfully I will be seeing my DSis Wednesday evening and she can loan me a bigger one. I've had a sinus headache all day, but tonight I started sneezing like crazy and feel a tad stuffy, I BETTER NOT BE GETTING SICK. I'll keep my fingers crossed hoping it's only sinus stuff, dog & cat dander will do that to you in a closed up house for the season!

Hang in there, you will be fine. Take it one day at a time and soon you will finally be there. Enjoy your trip!

why is it every time I go to just "pick up a few things" for our trip I spend 80 bucks?!?!?!?! I am buying crap here so that I dont spend all my money there!! Well I am really really prepared now. I don't think there is anything that I am not bringing.. seriously, it is crazy. Last night at work I was list making. Lists of packing in suitcases, packing in carry ons, stuff to buy, stuff to do... lists outlining my lists! My micromanaging of this trip planning has gone too far. I have decided I will finish today... by 9:30 tonight when I leave for work, everything will be packed, and ready to go! That way tomorrow morning I can come home from work, sleep like a baby for a few hours, and then just get up, get the kids from school, and get our butts to the airport! YaY!

I am so sleep deprived! But I think I have everything ready to go!! Just need to pack the toothbrush and hair brush tomorrow...

Got "A" Boarding passes for my Southwest flight. yay!

Now I need to go to work... I think I will be napping at work. I work in a chemical plant, so just envision Homer Simpson in his control room sleeping, except it is going to be me in my control room sleeping!
Next trip, I am taking the day off before we leave.

Well, everything is all packed and ready to go! It is great, the anxiety is over, just need to get the child to and from school, and then figure out how all the luggage is going to fit in my little Toyota Yaris to get to the airport



I can nap in peace this morning for a few hours, and then it will be time...

The guys at work last night started singing M..I..C..K..E.. as soon as I walked in. Instant smile. I think they are ready to stop listening to me talk about it. hehe One of them ended up booking a trip in March to take his granddaughter there. i told him to be careful, it is addicting!
