A thread for GUYS only

If we're gonna do a guy's only thread shouldn't we be talkin' jock straps and where to get them fitted properly for the "boys" blah-blah-blah?

For watching on the tube I don't mind pro ball. But for plain ole fun to watch football nothing beats heading to the local H/S game on a Friday night.

If you guys did that, it'd be "payback" for the "hooters" threads out there....

Some of my coworkers goes to HS football games. Guess maybe 'cause one of their's son plays....

COLLEGE FOOTBALL!

I watch pro football too, but there's nothing quite like the college team spirit.

I had a pretty crushing weekend, being an Oregon alum and a huge Duck fan. I just don't understand how you go from such an impressive USC beatdown one week, to not being able to stop one guy from running all over you all game long. And it was even worse that they teased me at the end by almost making a miraculous comeback.

I'm a Duck alum too! (Female, though). That was a depressing game, huh? I have no idea what happened, but I felt like the Ducks ran the same play over and over and Stanford probably just prepped for it two weeks straight. And Luck couldn't miss his receivers! I think they'll pick themselves up just fine though, win out and go to the Rose Bowl. They better - I'm watching ASU hopefully go down at Autzen this weekend!

I really just watch Pac-10 football, and it's been a lovely year to watch! I tried watching some pro-football this year as I've gotten really into the Pac-10, and it's definitely not the same. The field looks tiny (DH tells me this is because they're much bigger players than college, heh) and it looks effortless. I find college much more exciting.
