I posted this on the Community Board also, but thought it worthwhile and appropriate here on the Transportation Board also............

Just heard on Fox News that about 20 of the major airlines are going to start working on airlifting up to around 25,000 survivors out of NO area to various Air Force bases. Themselves strapped with a horrendous expenses, many in bankruptcy, they are coming through....the tough get going when the going gets tough.

Glad to hear it. USAirways is my favorite airline and they have a lot of volunteer work in the past. Nice to know the companies care.
 
Thanks for the heads up Dan. That's nice to know. I almost feel better giving my money to Delta/Song now....at least they're all doing something.
 
Maybe FEMA is compensating them in some way though.....
