MOTIVATION is what gets you started.
HABIT is what keeps you going.

So, let's get motivated to get healthy, and before you know it you won't give it a 2nd thought. You'll be eating healthy out of habit!:Pinkbounc :D :p
 
I love that thought. I keep thinking that this will always be so hard and that I will never be able to keep it up.

But you are right. Pretty soon my good habits will be as ingrained as my bad habits were!
 

RIGHT ON!!!

Was just talking about this with DH this morning. We have really changed our eating habits and have seen great results. We've lost weight, we feel great about ourselves, we have more energy. We are happy with our plan and agree it's something we can live with! :) Instead of having burgers last night at the cookout, he CHOSE to have a chicken breast (no bun). He had already planned a cheat night, so he took a LITTLE potato salad, but he also had a nice lettuce salad and fruit. It was his decision, and he has developed some great healthy eating habits! I am so proud! :)
 
Our WW meeting today was on habits and how good habits can make things so much easier and bad habits can crush our efforts. Our "homework" was to think of a bad habit and how we can replace it with a good one.

I like this quote you posted. I think I'm going to put it on my fridge!
