may be shadows and even darkness to overcome,
but if we are brave we can rediscover that childlike
energy and freshness.

Picasso went on creating for over ninety years. He
kept the child alive in himself for our delight. Even
if we do not have his talent, we can be inspired by
his example--to bring to life the creative child in us
again.

Spending your thoughts

To remove a problem from your life, first remove it from your mind. Rather than spending your thoughts on those things you don't want, apply those thoughts toward your positive possibilities.
Instead of looking for things to worry about in a particular situation, look for ways to make a positive difference. What you focus upon has a way of becoming real, for your thoughts are what guide your actions.

You would not choose to spend a lot of your hard earned money on something you did not want, for that would not make sense. And in the same way it does not make sense to spend your powerful, influential thoughts on those things you do not want.

See clearly what is there in front of you, and think of it in terms of the positive possibilities. There is a positive, forward-looking response to even the most negative and difficult situation.

Your thoughts can give power and life to what you don't want, or to what you know is best and most positive. You can choose whatever you prefer by the thoughts you choose to keep in mind.

Time to live

As you go through your life, take the time to live. Take time to appreciate and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you, to make a difference, to do something that you truly care about.
Take the time to know your passion, to follow your purpose, to do something more than simply get through the day. Take time to lift up another, to really listen, to truly care.

Take time to seek out the real joys of being alive and aware, of being a unique person with a special purpose. Take time to genuinely give of yourself, for that is the best gift you can offer.

The time you take to really live is time you will always treasure, and creates value that will always stay with you. The more often you remember what a special and irreplaceable gift it is to be alive, the more you'll have to offer to the lives of those around you.

This very day is your time to live, and it is here for you to experience. Whatever your situation, whatever challenges you face, however busy your schedule may be, there is always so much value in taking the time to really live.
