Even though we are a wealthy nation and can rebuild with our own resources, it means a great deal to get such support from our friends in the world (political differences aside).

Thank you for your generosity and kindness. While I am not directly affected, I do know several people who are (fortunately they were all able to survive the storm). On their behalf, I would like to express my thanks.
