A big thank you to Canada, UK, Germany, France and any others who have offered aid of any kind to the US in the wake of this disaster. Even though we are a wealthy nation and can rebuild with our own resources, it means a great deal to get such support from our friends in the world (political differences aside).

Thank you for your generosity and kindness. While I am not directly affected, I do know several people who are (fortunately they were all able to survive the storm). On their behalf, I would like to express my thanks.

Nice thread :) and I definitely ditto the thanks.
It's so great that even when we're at odds with our allies, we can pull together and help each other out in times of crisis :)

It is nice, especially with the hard feelings between countries as of late, that everyone can bond as humans.

Thanks!

Well as a Canadian we do appreciate the heartfelt thanks and it is the least we could do for our nieghbours.
