Oh good Lord. Your post makes little sense and makes my head hurt. On one hand you say the conventional definition of terrorism is someone who tries to kill someone for political purposes and in the very next sentence you say Ayers actions are not because nobody died by his actions.

Back to the original question, I'm wondering how anyone can dare compare Ayers with the 9/11 bombers or the Nazis. The Nazis killed millions of people. The Weathermen? They succeeded in killing their own, accidently, with one of their own bombs. I'm not saying the policies of the Weathermen were okay and let me be clear that I have no sympathy for their methods. I'm just saying there is really no comparason between the two and attempting to link them does nothing for the argument against Ayers (and of course, Obama) because it's so patently absurd.

i believe in our system of justice and ayers was dealt with, yes, years ago. he has been a productive member of society and worked at prestigious schools.

his past should not be held against him endlessly......

the other terrorists you mentioned were either delt with or will be and will serve their time....

none of this... has anything to do with obama...
i have worked with folks and i am in no way responsible for their past or present life choices....

mccain on the other hand vacationed many times with keating....a much closer association...if you believe in guilt by association .....

Please take a very hard look at John McCain's early years in politics and tell me if you can't say the same thing about him. I asked before, is organized crime terrorism? I believe it is akin to it.
