A Ten Day Ride on A Magic Camel - Almost Finished Trip Report

Since you brought up the Batman costume I have to share with you that when we were little I made Trent a Batman costume. Out of construction paper. It was the greatest costume ever. I will try to find the picture and post it because the construction paper underpants are hilarious!

That's hilarious!!! Yes, please try to find a picture of that!!! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Brooklyn sounds adorable!

I'll have to look for a picture I have of Patrick when he was not quite 2. He wasn't playing dress up, just putting random clothes on. He started with a pair of footie pajamas then layered it with a swimming suit and his bicycle helmet. It was quite the sight! :lmao:

A few pictures from our trunk-or-treat evening at church, for those of you who are interested.

Most everyone in these pictures is related to us, but there are a few random church people mixed in.

First, little Dean was a turtle. He had the crawling part down very well.

I told Brooklynn (while we were inside eating supper) to look at the cute little turtle. Dean didn't have his headpiece on, so even though he was again crawling on the floor, Brooklynn didn't figure out what I was talking about. She kept looking under the table for a real turtle.

Kemper was Indiana Jones, but he kept losing his whip.

Parker was a very small Goofy.

He was kind of a round Goofy, too.

Carson and Parker.

Carson was so excited by all the pumpkins that he couldn't be still for a picture.

Eli with his Papa.

Brooklynn with her munchies.

Note that her pumpkin was a Mickey pumpkin.

Our set up.

We had plain sugar cookies, and the kids decorated their own and put them in ziplock bags to take home for later. They had fun with that.

Brooklynn and Carson eyeing the goods.

Carson made his way back to our table several times.

IMG_7694.jpg

Since this was just for little kids, the hay wagon just rode them around the church parking lot two times.

Kinda funny when you think about it, but the little guys thought it was great.

Brooklynn did her parade wave most of the trip. :wave2:

It was a fun evening, but it was a long day for Jill with the zoo, too. They're already all asleep for the night, and I'm headed to sleep, too.

Aw those "Trunk or Treat" pictures were great! I love the Mickey & Goofy. :lovestruc Little Miss Tinkerbell is pretty cute herself.

That Trunk or Treat thing is a great idea for the little ones. Glad they seemed to have so much fun. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Cathy

Hi MeMom & Brooklynn'sMom. I discovered your trippies this past week and have spent much time reading them. I read this one first then went back to read the original. I'm not quite finished with it yet.

I wanted to say you have one beautiful granddaughter and you are an amazing woman. You have had me welling up with tears several times & have put many big smiles on my face.

I saw something in one post that made me think you were born in Oklahoma? Did I understand that right? Funny thing is my kids & I want to move to SE Tennessee from Oklahoma.

Anyway your pictures really do a great job of making me feel like I am right there at WDW. Thank you for that.

I wanted to post after reading your last post about the hayride with a warning. An 18 month old baby was killed on a hayride at a little park in Oklahoma City earlier this week. I was at this park with my granddaughter just a week & a half ago. So just a little public service announcement to all your readers to be careful on those things.

Now back to reading the original!

Aww, the kiddos looked adorable in their costumes!

The decorate your own cookie station was a great idea. I bet the kids just loved that!

Aww...Brooklynn looks so cute as Tink! Looks like you had a great time at Trunk and Treat! We go on Friday...I can't wait! (I'm as excited as the kids!)

All the kids are SO cute in their costumes...especially Brooklynn!

It was such a great idea to do the decorate your own cookie. Sounds delicious!

What a fun way to celebrate Halloween!

Aww! Brooklyn is cute (and so big, what a difference from her Alice pictures a year ago)

MeMom,
Your trunk looked great. We are having our Trunk-or-Treat/Hayride at church this Friday. I can't wait to see all the little ones. Now I know why my Mama used to get so excited when we were little. To see the look on the little ones faces and to have those memories are priceless. When we were at Disney on Ice the other night, there was a little girl sitting beside me. When Tinkerbell realized what kind of fairy she was( I don't want to give too much away for those who will be seeing it) the little girl whispered with amazement," Wow, it's magic." The tears just started rolling down my face. She made it easier for me to sit through that part of the show.

That trunk-or-treat event is SUCH a good idea, and your trunk was great.

I love the picture of Brooklynn and Carson eyeing the goodies! All the kids look adorable. :goodvibes Also love Brooklynn's Tinkerbell costume; I think that's the kind of thing I would have gone for when I was young. I was Minnie Mouse one year (I might have been five), complete with the cheap plastic mask. :rotfl: Looking back, it was kind of strange looking, but I really liked it.

Woo Hoo! I finally finished reading both reports. Thank you for all the wonderful pictures. I really felt like I was right there in WDW.

One thing I wanted to mention is that you can get food to go at Pepper Market and you don't have to pay that 10% fee. Just in case you ever want to go back to CSR to eat even though that cm was so terribly mean to Jill.

I can't wait to read about you next adventure and see how much more Brooklynn has grown. What a beautiful little girl!

I love all the trunk or treat photos. The little ones look adorable in their costumes. We get lots of trick or treaters in our neighborhood, and I love seeing their costumes!

Brooklynn looks so cute as tinkerbelle! :goodvibes
What a great expression when she is "eyeing the goodies"

The cookie decorating is a great idea.

Our elementary school has a fall festival, and one of the activities is to decorate graham crackers. Its always a big hit.

Peter Pan on Ice sounds great. I wish it were coming here.
The next one to our area is in Dec 26-30. Its called 100 Years of Magic.
Tickets haven't gone on sale yet. And I'm not sure what our holiday plans are. :confused3 I'm hoping maybe we can go to it.

ok...i finally broke down and opened a photobucket account...now how do I post pictures on disboards??

Awww, I love the dinosaur pictures!!!!!!!! So cute of you MeMom even though your covering your face!!:lmao:

Love all the Trunk or Treat pics!!! SO sweet!!! Your set-up was fabulous---I hope you won some type of prize!!!! Our church had their trunk or treat yesterday, but we had to miss it because we had already planned to go hiking down at Natural Bridge State Park. That was a great deal of fun--nice 2 hour drive down there too--but we always enjoy trunk or treat too.......we will have to make sure we don't miss it next year!
