A tale of making ADRs with a split stay

This morning was day 180 for the first hotel of my split stay reservation - two days at AoA and a week at AKV. Both reservations are added to MDE and all setup and ready to go.

Here's a tale of what happened this morning starting at 5 a.m. CT...

1. Wake up to alarm for 4:53 a.m. to "Duck Tales Theme"
2. Start on regular MDE site, login, start making reservations.
3. Look for BOG 11/11 and 11/16 for a party of 9 (!!!) - no luck.
4. Login to the GB site and look again. No luck. Settle for lunch and move on.
5. Staying on the GB site, I snag 'Ohana for 7:10 dinner on 11/15 for 8 (mom leaves early).
6. Crap, realize I meant to do 'Ohana for 11/16, cancel the 11/15 and grab the 11/16 for the same period.
7. Get Le Cellier for 1:40 lunch for 9 on 11/14.
8. Then things get weird...still on the GB site I start looking for the rest of my reservations - Mickeys Backyard BBQ for 8 on 11/9, Sci-Fi for 9 for lunch and Fantasmic Dinner package on 11/15, and an alternate for 11/11 original BOG plan (monorail or resort restaurant). And NOTHING is working, the entire site gives me errors. I can't even log my reservation number to get +10 dining. I try the regular MDE site and still get lots of errors and somehow it books me for a lunch TODAY at Sci-Fi! After trying for a while it is now 5:40 a.m. and I succumb to the realization I will need to call WDW Dining at 6:00 a.m.
9. I call at 6:00 a.m. and the CM is lovely. First her system seems down, but we get past that.
10. No BOG (had to try again, right?) but successfully booked Mickeys Backyard BBQ on 11/9, Sanaa lunch on 11/11, Sci-Fi lunch and Mama Melrose Fantasmic on 11/15.
11. Luckily all my reservations show up on MDE and all is good on that front.
12. Logged on throughout the day to see if I could search and find something maybe alternately for a day and still can't book anything past the time I leave the AoA resort and my reservation number is not being recognized on the GB site.

Luckily this issue should be resolved for me in two days as my 180 approaches for the AKV reservation. I got a good list of ADRs and I have the option to do BOG for lunch still.

What is GB site and what is +10? I'm praying for a BOG reservation in December! Also for Le Cellier, which is crazy hard to get with the candlelight processional going on.

So, I am planning a split stay as well. Does this mean on my check in at my first resort, I can only book out as far as I am staying at that resort? Then, I must wait for 180 days prior to my 2nd check in date for the rest?

I made my reservations a couple of weeks ago. I used the GB site and it went flawlessly. I am doing a split stay. I don't know how the new website is supposed to work, but the GB site allowed it. I did have a problem with one of my reservations, so I called. The CM did not have a problem making reservations during the second half of my split. During that call I also made reservations for Harmony Barber Shop, Pirates League, and Pirate Adventure (which all take place during the second half of the split).
