I just thought you ladies would like to hear this little story.

We had a some friends over to trick-or-treat and have a scary dinner with us. One guest was Jos (Yos) a little boy age 9 that is friends with my DS8. He's from Holland, not that it matters except that the accent made what he said even cuter.

So I had just served Parmesean Garlic Bread as an appetizer, following loads of Halloween candy. He walks in the kitchen to where I am. He says, "Excuse me Mrs. Smith, You are a MAGNIFICANT cook." and walked out of the kitchen.

It was adorable :lovestruc

So here is the recipe that inspired such a compliment. It IS really good.
Cheesy Garlic Bread

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 (1 pound) loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (grate it yourself, its so much better)

DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic and oregano; spread on cut sides of bread. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Broil for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Slice and serve hot.

OMG! I now want garlic bread and its only 9.37am!

Awww, that's so sweet! Thanks for the garlic bread recipe. It sounds really good! :)
