A surprise question-need ideas !

So in August while we are there on our first trip with kids we are planning on doing tinkerbell gifts. For one of the days I plan on leaving a letter w/tixs for DD (6) and DH to have a daddy-daughter night out and booking the pirate pals firework cruise. Now DS (2) will have no clue what he is missing and him & I will go have a mommy-son night out or in ...he does love his sleep. DD will be very concerned that he is missing out on something and worried he is not having fun. I would make it a family deal but I really want to have DD & DH hang out because the are best buds and this year has been busy with DH back in school and working full time. I just want to "gift" something to DS & me that will set her mind at ease...any ideas for a crazy 2 yr old ?

How about a glow in the dark wand/sword... maybe some special ice cream treat, a puzzle with big pieces
for you and him to do together..

Are you staying onsite? Your resort might have evening entertainment for families and you could look up what will be available that night and pitch it to your kids as a special mother-son thing you want to do at the resort while father and daughter are away.

Agree, I would look and see what is available at your resort or even one nearby. Maybe you can do some big certificate for Movie Magic with Mom -- ice cream or cupcake, movie in your room and a new plush toy or blanket to snuggle with. And it's very sweet of your DD to be so concerned!

How sweet of your DD to worry about her little brother! As pps mentioned, there are lots of things you can "gift" him. Are you staying onsite? I'd say the resort movie would be a great idea. When she opened her "Night out with Dad" gift, he could get a few movie treats and "tickets" to the movie?

Thanks guys ! We are staying onsite at POFQ so I think I will do a certificate for movie night w/ mom including the ice cream. That should set her mind at ease. My kids crack me up this is just how they are with each other...hope it sticks through the teenage years
