The carriage ride is sure to be a hit with the girls. I'm excited to hear what you think about it. A great place to look at cake pictures is www.cakecentral.com. Registration is free and they literally have thousands of cake pictures in their galleries. I get a lot of inspiration from that site.

I hope free dining comes out for you all. That would be a much better option than getting the Disney Visa promo I think. You aren't really paying for the girls to stay with either option but I guess you'd have to compare the cost of tickets for the girls versus free dining for the five of you.

Well, lookie who's up and on the Dis already!!!

I was thinking about doing the carriage ride, too! We'll have to see. I don't want to keep whining about finances, but UGH!!! I can't take it! It's my own stupid fault by counting on the support check to be in, so since it was late, I've been overdrawn on my account and that's just wasting money right there! UGH!!!!!

So....yes, I really do think free dining will be out on Monday. I should put another bug in my TA's ear!

Oh, I know, everything is so darn expensive! Incredibly, with the wedding and all, we are in an ok place financially right now. I also know that that can change with the drop of a dime, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well. Some pixie dust for you too!!!!!

I do already have the QSDP, I got a pin, but I am upgrading to the DDP, it's going to cost us a little over $300, so if FD comes out, (it would be the regular DDP for us because we're staying in a moderate resort), so i'm hoping for that to save us another $300!
The kids stay and play free, doesnt' work out better for me, even if I have to upgrade to DDP. Emily is 11, so i'm only getting the 2 younger ones free, if Emily was 9, it would have been a better deal for us.

I am happy anyway it works out for me, because since Anthony decided not to come (not that i'm happy with that) and by switching resorts that already saved us $800 plus! We've never been on a trip for this amount of $ before. It costs a family of 6 a fortune to just go out to dinner these days!!

If anyone is at home this morning. Disney World is on the Travel Channel right now! They just finished up with Magic Kingdom. Epcot is up next!!! Woo Hoo!!! I think Epcot's my favorite park. If I really had to pick one. Like if I was told I could go to florida and visit one park for one day, I think i'd pick Epcot. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!


I also put the girl's bunk beds up yesterday. Manny finished most of it last night but I started it before he got home. Well, I should not have done that, because here I sit with my neck in severe pain again. I guess even though it felt better, it was not ready to do anything like that! I'm so disgusted just sitting here. Thank goodness for the Dis and the Travel Channel today!!!

Yeah, I got your little "oh I'm watching Disney on the Travel Channel" message on my ptr!!! I wish I was home watching it right now. I did try to streamline it so I could watch it here at work, but their site doesn't have that benefit! Ugh! It's rainy and cold today and that makes it really hard to work. Have you found any pictures of the cake you would like?

Yep, now waiting for Free Dining to come out on Monday. I did talk with the TA this morning and she states she's going to hop right on the phone on Monday and hopefully switch my ressies to POR. We'll see. I'm really kind of torn between saving the money ($1,386) if I keep with ASMu or enjoying the luxury of POR. Can't I just win Megabucks and invite all my DisFriends to stay at the Grand Floridian with me --- my treat???!!!

Oh, me too! I watch than any chance I get. This was seemed to be a little different than ones i've seen before though. Plus before that one there was one on the Disney Cruise lines. Oh, boy when the kids are a little older, I want to do that.

I can take pictures! We already had this set but they were not together! The girls are very excited. I bought them about 2 years ago, but didn't think Lizzie or Sam was ready for the top bunk. They have so much more room now. It's so nice. All I want to do is get in there and straighten it up and make it look cute, but oh, NO, I cannot move.
I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL MONDAY... I AM READY!!!!

Did you read the rumors that if FD is announced, even the moderates are going to get the QSDP and we would have to upgrade to the regular DP? I would be happy with something. With the Kids Stay and Play free promo extended out for general public today, I am wondering if they are going to delay FD even more!

Hope your neck is feeling better Pam! I injured my neck at work about 10 years ago and oh my goodness how painful. It seemed like every muscle in my body was tied to my neck. I hope you are doing better this evening.

Yay for bunkbeds too! We bought some this past summer. It was one of the best purchases we've ever made.

I think if there's no availability, I'm going to stick with ASMu and upgrade to DDP and not go for another mod.....I just don't know. I hate worrying about this stuff!!!

Never mind, I found it on the codes and rates board. So, it looks like FD will be announced on May 2nd, although I've also heard May 3rd, but either way, I'll be glued to the laptop until I see it come out. We have Makenzie's bday party on sunday! (She is starting to feel better, by the way, starting to hop around) But, Nicole and I will keep checking if it hasn't been announced by then.

It also seems like no one is sure if all resorts will get QS or the values will like last year!

So, if it's QS for all, i'll be upgrading to the DDP. If it's DDp, i'll be calling to switch my free qs to the free ddp. Hopefully, i'll be able to do that. Nicole is also unsure of what she's doing for dining. If free DDP is offered, she may go with that. But, she may stick with QS?? I guess we'll know in a few days. Seems like just yesterday May 3rd was weeks away. The time is going so fast!

Ann, I hope you can get into POR with that FD!! What will I do with that extra set of floaties I'll have to put them on Manny!

OMG!!! It may be worth my staying at ASMu to see a picture of Manny in the water wings!!! No, seriously I'm really hoping to get into POR but they say that one sells out quick with Free Dining. I've already talked with the TA and she states she'll be on the phone first thing Monday morning, so we'll see. Yes, what has been offered to the DVisa holders in QSDP at the values, DDP for mods & above. I just hope that after Monday my plans will be set and I won't have to worry about it anymore!

I know, i just want this all figured out! It's going to cost me a little over $300 for the ddp upgrade, so i'd really like to get that free ddp. I'm guessing seeing how it was offered to Disney cardholders that way it will be offered to the general public the same ? With the free reg. ddp at mods and deluxe. I sure hope so!!!!

I am also cancelling my water park and more option. Now that we're at POR with that pool and slide, we'll be ok. Disney quest (which i'm sure we'd all have had fun at) was really a surprise for Anthony And the waterparks. Well, Lizzie and Sam wouldn't go down the big slides, they would want to sit safely at the kiddie area. So Manny would be there and Me and Emily would be off on the slides. Which would be fine, but we'll just let them slide at the pool!
Plus Nicole's not doing water parks, so once Ant said he wasn't going I knew I was going to cancel that option.

Yeah, the water park option was never on the table for us.......Peter doesn't swim and Victoria doesn't like big water slides.....and you promised water wings for me, so I'm all set with the slide at the hotel. I just got an email from my TA asking if I had the Disney Visa. Um no.....don't you think if I did, I would have contacted her by now??? Geez!! I'm going to try not to think about this anymore this weekend. It's driving me crazy. I need to just let it go and let whatever happens, be! I just can't believe Saturday is already May 1st!!! And my ticker is down to 4 months and 25 days.....and my 43rd birthday is on May 11th!! OMG!! 43!!! I'm old!!
