A Summer Wedding and a Disney Trip CANCELLED, HELP DECIDE WHEN WE'LL GO IN 2011

WE'RE ORDERING OUR WEDDING CAKE TOMORROW!!! And it's a nice day today, so we're going to try to get out for a little while before I have to go back to work!

Thursday night while I was at work my Mom took the girls to this enchanted creamery for ice cream, and there is a dress up area and of course gift shop. They all got webkinz, so they all really just wanna sit on the computer, but they can do that later.

I had Disney Dreams last night. I love those! It was weird. We had a little boy with us ? Maybe about 3 yrs old. No clue as to who he was though. Me and Manny were sitting on this platform that was at the Haunted Mansion ( It looked like the HM, but not really, cause of course there's no platform) and we were just watching the kids ride it, they would get off and get right back on again cause there was no lines. It was a little weird, but still a good dream because we were in Disney World!

I love having Disney dreams! I had a strange one where DBF and I rode Space Mountain, which of course we didn't get to our last trip because it was closed for repairs. Can't wait to go back and ride it, though-- must have been a dream of my not-so-hidden-frustration that it was closed in August!!

Yeah, I've had a few dreams so far while waiting for this trip! My first one was the weirdest, I was at the ASMu with my boss picking out my room number!!

I'm on my way to the bakery shortly! I have 15 minutes to spare and where else would I spend them, but here! All of the kids are still sleeping, I was going to take them all with me, but they were up last night when I got home from work and Emily already told me "Just let me sleep" Ok, then! I really just wanted to tell everyone what Manny said yesterday! Now, he's never been the Disney fan, even after last trip! It seems like he's been more excited for this one over the past few weeks though. Well, yesterday he said, "oh, get a princess castle cake" I said WHAT!!!! Like a Disney castle cake? He said "yeah, that would be awesome" Now, of course that would cost an arm and a leg, but it's the fact that he thought of it and said it. I'm impressed!!!

Ok, Pam.....it's Sunday afternoon and you should have ordered the cake by now. I'm still going back and forth on whether or not I should have a Mickey/Minnie cake topper.......Oh, just to let you know that I've done up some of the Disney photo RSVP cards and I LOVE THEM!!! I can't believe that my idea has actually come out good! I'll post a pic I took tomorrow at work when it doesn't take me all day to upload a pic.!!!

Ok, whew!! I need a nap after ordering that cake! We got there at 10:30 and got out at 12pm!! Sam was with me and she was an angel. My brother and his girlfriend met us there as well as my other best friend Brianne! We started off with the tasting of the different fillings!! Oh, my god, their frosting was hands down the best frosting I have ever tasted. I wasn't expecting that, so boy was I surprised!
I do not have pictures of the cake because there was NOTHING like what I want, we kind of created our own and it's still not 100% set. There will be 3 tiers, the top tier will be separated by those separator/ column things, which I knew was what I wanted. Those just make the cake look so much bigger! It will be all white frosting with blue ribbon around the top and bottom tier and a pretty silver ribbon around the middle tier. The top and bottom tier will be chocolate with vanilla cream pudding filling, which was to die for, and the middle tier will be white cake with strawberry filling!
I'm going to start googling 4th of july cakes and decided exactly how I want it decorated! If we're going to do flowers they are going to be lilies! And she said she could color the tips (which looked awesome) blue and red or just red to add that little bit of red we need!
And I need to look for a cake topper!

When I find something online pretty similar to what I want i'll post that pic so you have a better idea. I will post some pics tomorrow of some I took at the bakery though. I don't have time now, we're about to have lunch and then I have to work tonight cause one of the other supervisors is on vacation. But i'll be googling wedding cakes, so not too bad.

I also bought index cards the other day and just started writing down the CS restuarants we'd be interested in and reservation numbers for our TS meals and then next to come will be all the park plans once they are set!! I did the index cards last year and loved them. I brought them in my backpack and they took up no room at all and of course weighted nothing!

I'm very excited about the cake being ordered!!! I feel like the wedding is so close. I mean, it is, but I feel like these next 2 months are going to fly by!! AND THEN THEY'LL ONLY BE 2 MORE MONTHS TIL DISNEY WORLD!!!!

So, like I said, I do not have a picture of the cake, but I will find something that may be remotely similar online eventually and post it here. I did look last night and couldn't find anything. Gee, I say i'm not picky, but I obviously am. I'll know exactly what I want for decorations on the cake when I see it.

I will put up a pic of Sam and Uncle Ricky from the bakery though. She's the only one that was awake to come.

She definitely enjoyed the taste test!!!

So, the kids went back to school this morning. I miss them I just made our horse drawn carriage ride at POR though! So, i'm excited about that. I also put some more of our plans and confirmation numbers on my index cards!!

As for the wedding, this week, it will be trying to figure out exactly what I want on this cake and invitations, oh and a cake topper! I've seen so many that I like

So, I called to book the horse drawn carriage ride at POR for our trip. Right now I have it booked for the first night we arrive because I want it to be a surprise. If I booked it for a few days in the girls would keep seeing it (The CM told me the carriages are parked at the marina) and asking to do it and then it wouldn't be much of a surprise. We have to be at the Marina by 8:15 and it is $45 for a 25 minute ride. It's going to be very nice!
I have it booked for the 18th (day of arrival) at 8:30pm. If we drive we will be in by then. If we end up finding good airfare I may have to switch the day depending on the flight. Right now Nicole has a night flight and if that 's still available for a good price after the wedding i'd like to fly together. So, if that's the case I would call and switch it to the monday after we arrive. I would just have to tell the girls what they're surprise is before we keep seeing it. So, they'll know they're gonna ride it.

So, the Kids stay and play fee promotion has been extended for Disney Visa cardholders until 10/2: What do we all think of that. Will FD be announced monday or is this the promotion that will be out for now?

Well, lookie who's up and on the Dis already!!!

I was thinking about doing the carriage ride, too! We'll have to see. I don't want to keep whining about finances, but UGH!!! I can't take it! It's my own stupid fault by counting on the support check to be in, so since it was late, I've been overdrawn on my account and that's just wasting money right there! UGH!!!!!

So....yes, I really do think free dining will be out on Monday. I should put another bug in my TA's ear!
