A Summer Wedding and a Disney Trip CANCELLED, HELP DECIDE WHEN WE'LL GO IN 2011

Rides/Attractions:

Tower of Terror (I'm afraid to try this one)
Rock n Rollercoaster(we'll do this first to warm up)
Star Tours
Indiana Jones show
Magic of Disney animation
Beauty and the Beast
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Muppet vision 3D
Toy Story Mania

I think the kids will want to see Playhouse Disney live on stage, if they want to we will, if they want to skip it, we will. I'm sure Lizzie and Sam will want to see this though.

We did not really think about the magic of disney animation last trip, but it looks so cool. The kids are really excited about checking that out!!

Also, I didn't add Lights motor action this time. We LOVED it in May and I would watch it again, but seeing how it took up quite a bit of time (at least 45 minutes) I want to make sure we have enough time to do what we didn't get to do in May.

Also, Lizzie REALLY wants to get picked to do the Jedi Training. I really thought that was too funny when she got so excited over that one day. So, we will be trying to get into that! I hope she gets picked. And you know i'll be making her a nice shirt to help her along. Hopefully that will catch the eye of whoever is picking.

CSs

Pizza Planet
Backlot express
ABC Commissary

We did eat at Pizza planet last time, but I really loved this restaurant. We may want to eat here again.

My son is really hoping he can do JTA, too. He wants his sister to join him but she says that she doesn't like Star Wars. :confused3

Plans look awesome Pam!!!!! I did Toys Story Pizza Planet when we went back in 08 and we WILL be doing it again. There is just something about that place- its too cool. Plus Austin is on a Toy Story kick right now and he even asked me one day if we could go to Pizza Planet for dinner. I was like "Oh Aussie, Pizza Planet is in Disneyworld, we'll go when we go back for your birthday!", and he got sooo excited- a definite must do. We ate at Backlot Express too- the food was pretty good.

Are you doing a theme for Sam's bday party?

Yeah, my other 2 daughters were like "um, no, I don't want to do that." But, Lizzie is really ready to try to get in. I have a great design for her shirt that was made here on the dis, so i'm hoping that helps!

Great looking plans Pam! Hooray for adding a day too! That's always a good thing. :goodvibes

Yeah, now I hope we can get in early on saturday so it's a FULL extra day. I know, i'm greedy!!

:woohoo::yay: woooooo hooooooo on adding a day. Your plans look great:thumbsup2.

Thanks

Before our first trip I told the girls that we were going to eat at Pizza Planet and they were like "what.... we are" they were so excited. Plus after Toy story 3 comes out they're going to be even more excited!
For Sam's birthday we are doing a Princess and the Frog theme! She is in love with Princess Tiana and the little frog prince.

Great plans :thumbsup2

Yay for arriving a day early!!!!!!! :yay::yay::woohoo::woohoo:

I know, i'm so excited!

Hey Pam:

I know you are really concerned about DHS on Sep 25th Saturday........would it help to know that I'm going to be switching my plans and possibly going to Epcot on that day? I may be hitching a ride on an Illuminations cruise that night, so I believe if everything falls into place, that will be Epcot day. Do you know what the Touring plans say for a rank for Epcot on the 25th. How about for Magic Kingdom on the 24th......I've got to get these dates straight before my 180 mark hits!!!! :confused3

Hey Ann, that's exciting!!! It says that Epcot is the best park to be in on Saturday the 25th! They don't have different crowd levels for each park, it's just one crowd level, which for some reason is a 9 for that, not sure why, and then they tell you which park is best to be in. Friday the 24th's crowd level is a 4, which is pretty much the crowd number this week. I can't wait to see crowds as low as this. The crowd levels when we went in May were 6s and 7s and even that wasn't too bad!! It does say DHS is the best park to be in on the 24th, but with crowd levels that low, I think any park that your in will be great!!!

Thanks Pam!! Yeah, I think it will be Epcot on the 25th and DHS on September 30th. That will work. I really hope the cruise works out!!! :cool1:

yay for Spring coming!! I sure hope it continues!!

AK: What kind of animals do you want to see? There is one where you see the bats and tigers (Maharajah). The other has the gorillas (Pangani Forest). If we only did one, it would be the Maharajah but that is my family's personal preference.

what shirts are you making next? :)

:woohoo: for another day. You will be getting there the day we leave :upsidedow

DHS: plans look great! :thumbsup2

Your AK and DHS plans look great. ToT is one of my favorite rides, closely followed by RnRC. ToT is a doozy is you get motion sickness.

We never ate at Pizza Planet before. It's on our list for our upcoming trip.

I'm not sure which one we'll do. I'll have to look more into which animals are where. Shirts??? I bought the girls each another matching outfit set. It is a black skirt(with the shorts underneath) and gray shirts. So, i'm thinking. I may want my MNSSHP designs on these.

Thanks! I do get motion sickness, but I am going on ToT for my daughter and my best friend. SO.... we'll see!

Pam, so glad you could add another day! I see you're still deciding between driving and flying-- I think every family needs at least one great road trip. Just be prepared for the drive back to be NOT fun!
DHS plans look great-- we'd never eat at a different CS than Pizza Planet. I tried Backlot Express once and almost threw up from the chicken caesar wrap. Yuk!
Here's a tip for if you're a bit nervous about the "dropping stomach" feeling on TOT. Once you rise to the top (after seeing the "cool" stuff-- don't want to spoil it for you), look down at your feet. Keep your eyes open, but just concentrate on the floor. It 100% eliminates that "feeling." I told DBF about this tip (he was petrified of TOT), and his reply was "What tips do you have for being up so high??" Oops-- no answer for that! :lmao: But, I can assure you that looking down will eliminate the stomach sensation!

Wow, thanks! It makes me feel a lot better knowing that there is something out there to try for that wonderful feeling. I am still nervous to ride it, but I feel a little better now! I'll definitely be trying that!
And that is my problem with the road trip. Manny and I have always said that we wanted to drive somewhere. I'm just so worried about the ride back. I don't want to sit in the truck with tired kids that just want to be home and a cranky Manny!

We had a very nice birthday weekend here! The weather was crappy, but we were inside anyway!

Saturday morning I had to get up very early to bake the birthday cake. I made a castle, so it was 3 cakes that had to be baked. After that was done we went to basketball. Last saturday and next saturday will be basketball instead of sunday because of something going on at the high school. Which worked out well with the party! My brother came with us and Lizzie is doing so good!

After that I had to come home and bake again because it was my desert night at work! And of all days it was so busy I didn't get out until 1:30am.

I again had to get up early, I was so tired, and now decorate the cake! Sam pulled up the stool and watched, she was so excited! It was a lot of work, but Sam was happy!

After that was done, we got ready and went by Manny's aunt's house who couldn't make it to the party last night. She gave Sam $25 dollars. It's burning a hole in her pocket right now! Then we went up to the mall and got our cookie cake and set up tables in front of the carousel. Her friends from school were meeting us here and Nicole, Makenzie and Jordyn.

Sam had so much fun with her little friends! They were all so cute together!

I'll continue the rest in the next post!

So Sam really enjoyed her little party at the carousel, we rode 4 times and by the 4th time I was really dizzy! Sam got 2 pretty outfits, a wizards of waverly place Alex doll, disney puzzles, and a barbie cash register from her friends!

Then we went home and had pizza and fries while we got ready for the family party at 6. Let's just say it was crowded in my house! It got hot, we had to open the door! But it went very well!

Nicole, Makenzie and Jordyn got Sam this Princess Tiana shirt and a $15 disney gift card for Disney World

She got so many pretty dresses and outfits, she got 3 pairs of sandals and the cutest Minnie Mouse raincoat, umbrella and boots!

This is her this morning in one of her new outfits and on her new bike!!!

And luckily for Sam it was raining this morning and it's going to rain all day!
